We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

One Orange Centre is a 25 acre estate with 5907 square foot home designed by John McEwan and Robert Rodriguez, both students of Frank Lloyd Wright, whose influence is obvious in every detail of this house. The construction of the house is primarily native limestone with California Redwood ceilings. The living room features 20 foot ceilings

Brackett House Bed and Breakfast - Bess room

Bess is a single room with two queen beds that can sleep up to four guests. This room features hardwood floors and picture molding in the main room. An armoire is available to store your clothing and travel gear. Off the sleeping room you have access to your en suite bath. French doors lead to a private, furnished porch that overlooks Cornell's historic campus.

Iowa House Room 101

The Iowa House Historic Inn, built in 1924, was converted from the Delta Chi fraternity house in 2008. Massive renovations turned this frat house into a charming 15 room bed and breakfast. Room 101 at the Iowa House. This is our first floor, handicap accessible room, just off the dining room. It is our only room with hardwood floors.
