Our neighborhood is close enough to downtown to enjoy walking to local restaurants, shops, Riverfront Park, and more. The Cob House is a one-of-a-kind, hand-built retreat crafted from sand, clay, and straw—just like they did centuries ago. This cozy, retreat offers a peaceful escape into nature with all the comfort & privacy you need to unwind. Inside, with a queen-sized bed, a AC/Heater and coffee & tea & snacks. The private deck is clothing-optional. The hot tub to soak under the stars. Between each stay, the space is saged to refresh the energy and welcome you anew. Come as you are. Leave feeling renewed.

The Little 1880 Cottage

The 1880 cottage is cozy and comfortable in historic Independence. A non smoking house. The house is 500 ft from the free Trolley stop that go to the historic downtown town by the Willamette River: amphitheater, restaurants, theater, museum, art, and music. Stroll along the scenic river in Riverview Park. The cottage has a BR with a queen-sized bed, a double sized futon couch in the living room. The kitchen is large, but no dishwasher. A deck off the back porch. A fun welcoming to town.

French doors open to a deck and huge yard that meets the wetland and walking path around the ponds. Less than 2 miles from the house, enjoy kayaking and walking the Luckiamute Landing Trails at the confluence of the Luckiamute, Santiam and Willamette rivers. Modern farm cottage located on our 2 acre lifestyle block for you to relax and enjoy our farm scenery. On the property we have chickens, rooster and ducks that roam freely. We want you to enjoy your stay and we welcome you here at the cottage. Cottage sleeps 4 guest max. If you need anything or there is a problem we are close by in the main house on the property. We take great pride in our cottage. Everything laundered and cleaned after each guest.

Very clean and Entire house available to guests, second house on property. Feed animals, relax in the hot tub or by the fire. Recharge on the porch and enjoy the view of the fields and seasonal pond. Fresh eggs collected by host daily are for sale in the farm store. Stroll down the gravel road and appreciate nearby agriculture. Drive to the coast 1 hour away. Take a wine tasting tour. End the day at the fire pit and make s’mores.
