Our family loved our stay! By far one of our favorite places we have visited. Clean, clutter free and plenty of things to do for all! Kids absolutely loved the pool, fishing and kayaking in the lake and searching for all the little frogs! It is one of those places that you can visit with the family and never have to leave to do anything else! Highly recommend! We will be returning next year! Thanks for hosting us!

Great place for larger group. We were in town for track activities at VIR and this was a great place to come back to and unwind.

This home worked out great for our recent MTB race at Angler’s Park. Comfortable beds and living space. Clean cookware was available for cooking in. Only wish we were there during pool season!

The home is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and spacious. The kitchens are well stocked and the cookware is in excellent condition. We appreciated the Bluetooth options for listening to music on the boat dock or by the pool. Lake Hyco is a pretty lake and we rented a pontoon boat one day to explore and enjoy being on the water. They delivered and picked up the boat from the dock at the house. Wonderful family memories as we celebrated my 60th birthday and we would love to return. I truly fell in love with lake living!

This house is an amazing undertaking. When you read the history of this home, it is obvious, it requires a special person, a lover of history and restoration, to take on a project like this. While staying at the property, Taylore was in constant contact with my family as we prepared for our daughter's wedding in Danville, VA. We were amazed at the original features, she (Taylore) has been able to preserve in a mansion of this size. We appreciated the newer accessories in the kitchen, etc... and really enjoyed the large dining areas to congregate and talk! We look forward to renting again!

We had an awesome time at Marks Place. This is our first time to visit Hyco lake and can’t wait to return. This house is absolutely stunning and so comfortable. Most of our family never left the house for the entire week. The lake and pool was beautiful. We could not believe how peaceful the location is and the surrounding areas. We were the only people in our cove for the entire week. We can’t wait to rent this place again, thanks for sharing your home with us

Shameka's place was great! Exactly what we needed..the kids really enjoyed the pool ! Location was pretty nice ..lol we didnt hear a peep out of the neighbors!! House was very clean and well kept! I would definitely return back to it and also would like to recommend it to anyone!!!

home was very welcoming and close to restaurants we visit when in town. Liked not having to park on street.

Spacious house with all the amenities needed. Everything was clean and tidy. We didn't spend much time in the house because we were at a sporting event, but it was a nice place to return to in the evening. Karri was accommodating for one of our athletes that had an earlier arrival than the rest of the group. Overall a great home in a great location.

We had a girls weekend here and can’t wait to come back. It was so peaceful and quiet, and the surroundings are beautiful. The home is cute and has everything you need. The screened in porch was our favorite spot, we spent hours out there!

We had a couple stay there that were doing a conference at our church. They were very pleased with the location, amenities, cleanliness and comfort of the house. We look forward to using this host for future events at our church.

I went for Liberty University graduation, which I was the graduate. So, we had to travel back and forth an hour and half. So, hopefully if we stay here again, we will come to enjoy the home more. I love the peaceful atmosphere.

The house was cute and very clean. It had everything we needed. It was very spacious for the price.

Home was exactly as described. The stairs upstairs were steep. But such a homie feeling throughout the whole home. Very very clean. The house had a lot of charm, it was exactly what we were expecting. If we need a place in this area again this would definitely be our rental.

This house was great for our quick one night stay. Looks just like the pictures and was clean!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was very private with plenty of outdoor space to play games and enjoy the weather. There were plenty of games and activities inside the house provided by the host. Kitchen was well stocked with most of the seasonings and condiments that you'd need, which was a nice perk. Melissa was very friendly and responsive when we had any questions. We spent one day at the Danville casino and it wasn't a bad drive. This is definitely a remote location but we the staff at Milltown Eatery were so friendly and welcoming even though we took up half the restaurant. Would highly recommend checking this place out for dinner!

The hosts were exceptionally hospitable, ensuring that every need was met and making me feel truly valued as a guest. Kiddos caught plenty of fish from sunup to sundown. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I can't wait to return!

This Cottage is a hidden gem! Location is perfect and the pictures doesn't do justice. Our stay was simply awesome from easy check in and checkout process. Home away from home. Thank you! Will certainly check this Cottage availability the next time I am the area.
