It overlooks the historic sight of Scapa Flow. We are situated in Holm, Orkney, which is less than a 10minute drive to Kirkwall (main town). A car is advised if you are staying at Maydene as it is around a 20 minute walk to the main bus route. We also provide information about Orkney and attractions to visit.

Make sure your booking is adequate length for all you want to see and do; as many guests advise that a guest requires at least a four night stay or longer to appreciate all that Orkney has to offer.

We have kept and restored some of the old beautiful features like the exposed stone walls and stone floor we have also installed a new multi fuel stove for cosy nights around the fire
