It features a patio to entertain and star gaze, gas fire pit, fully equipped kitchen, queen bed, and beautiful front porch perfect for bird watching or just relaxing! It is perfect for a solo adventure or a couple looking for a quiet getaway. We are located near Scottsboro(40 mins), Huntsville and Winchester,Tn (50 mins). Close proximity to the Walls of Jericho and Skyline wildlife management area.

Please note: this private lake is for trolling motors and paddles only, no gas powered motors permitted

Welcome to the beautiful Highland Cottages at Lake Guntersville! Each cottage has a built-in King bed with memory foam mattress, a kitchenette with a coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, glasses, and cutlery, and even a small refrigerator. Pamper yourself at the beautiful vanity with all the items needed to make you look and feel your best. Included are a hair dryer, makeup mirror, complimentary soaps and lotions, and the softest towels we could find. The deck and hot tub complete the experience!

Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville.

Just 1 1/2 miles to the boat launch and store at Waterfront. Places close by-Goosepond, Cathedral Caverns, Cavern Cove shooting range, G'ville St. Park, zip-lines. 8x40 covered deck, patio w/firepit, gas & charcoal grills, corn hole, darts, two hot tubs, five kayaks, one canoe w/gear, and a trailer. Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

The location is right around the corner from City Park for loading and unloading and Goosepond Colony.
