Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Singing Loon Cabin

Nestled among the trees, Singing Loon Cabin is the perfect place to take a break and unwind. Located just 25 minutes outside Bangor on Brewer Lake and 1 hour to Bar Harbor/Acadia. The screened front porch is a great morning coffee spot. A short walk down the mossy path in front of the cabin brings you across the road to the lakeside deck to enjoy the lake view, evening fires, loon calls, or kayaking.

Our open concept 2 bedroom home nestled in the woods has the charm of a cottage but the comforts of home. Morning coffee on the porch is often accompanied by sightings of deer in the large field out the front door and hummingbirds busy at the feeder.
