Check in was super easy. Wonderful drive up the mountain. I would recommend a 4x4 vehicle as the driveway is tricky. Beautiful views that change through the day. At night the mountain across from the property is lit like a Christmas tree with the cabin lights. Amazing. The cabin is well equipped. Spacious but cozy. The decks offer a lot of space. Plenty of furniture inside and out. Indoor gas fireplace provides great ambiance. Hot tub was wonderful on a chilly night. Located just minutes from several towns, all with busy, well kept, downtowns. Lots to do in the area. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Highly recommend.

The place was exactly as it looked in the listing and was quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of outside seating and the provided fire wood for the wood pit was a great bonus. The overlook was particularly nice to feel like you were in the woods but only steps from the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This house provided everything me and 7 other fellas for a friend reunion quite well. The home is well-stoked with nearly everything you need in the kitchen and for entertainment. Beautiful views. Isolated enough to feel quite private from neighbors. The host was proactive in sending messages to check in making sure no issues arose. Even better, very simple checkout instructions without feeling like I had to scrub the place. We were able to leave it in nice condition and let a cleaning team come in to do their work. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked Charlie's home for the Christmas Holiday week with my wife and adult children. The home was perfect for what we wanted, a country Christmas! The home was amazing and everyone had their own rooms and bathrooms! A must when you have 6 people in the house! The location is ideal, you can walk less than 10 minutes and you are in Downtown Waynesville. Lots of places to eat and shop. Charlie was an amazing host, she is very responsive and she is always quick to respond. She went the extra mile and decorated the house for Christmas, including a Christmas tree in the Family room! It was the perfect touch! We would definitely recommend staying at Twin Maples Farm House!!

If you want privacy, seclusion and the most amazing star gazing experience of your life (seriously!), this is the place for you! Come prepared to relax and take in the countryside with gorgeous mountain views and adorable farms dotting the landscape.

The pictures do not do any justice for the AMAZING views!! it was so peaceful, quiet and completely secluded. If you are looking for relaxation with the only noise you hear is the wildlife, this is your place. We will definitely be returning.

Great place. Cleanest place even the porch was clean no cobwebs at all and the hummingbirds came to drink all day it was a fun touch. We love it in Maggie valley

Great stay. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The kids loveddddd the game room and gave the adults a bit of space.

we loved our stay at Ann's home! we were in town to celebrate a family member's birthday and loved that the space was large enough to accommodate our family and to host the get together. it's a little off the beaten path - in the best way - but a super short drive over to Sylva and Waynesville. two small issues we had: it rained and the outside stairs were very slippery, and the main outside light was not working so they were pretty dangerous and one of our guests fell. we communicated the light issue to Ann and they came over immediately to remedy this, but I would still be very careful on the outdoor stairs. the water pressure on the showers is nearly non-existent when running the washer, so I'd take showers before loading up the washer on check out day. we'd love to return for our next trip to the area - would highly recommend.

My wife and I were thrilled when we walked in there for our 7 day honeymoon ! Small but necessary amenities. Rustic but beautiful ! Very secluded and private but still easy to get to. My wife called it " paradise " ! We loved it !

This home was perfect for our family of 3 teens and 3 adults. It was spacious and clean, we wanted for nothing. All this with a very accommodating, understanding and hospitable owners, who let us stay even after Helene's destruction to their bridge. Thank you for the wonderful stay this Thanksgiving 2024.

Such a beautiful and peaceful cabin tucked a way with a lot of hiking close by. The cabin was rustic, clean, and just as described/pictured. My boyfriend and I did a couple of nice hikes including Looking Glass Rock Trail as suggested by Lucas. Greg/Lucas were very accommodating and responsive.

This is a really special place! The views! The aesthetic and decor was so lovely and still comfy at the same time. We loved everything from the outdoor sitting areas (we did not use the fire pit) to the amazing bathroom(s), to the nice large kitchen and lastly the comfy beds, everything was above excellent! Felt secluded and we even saw a wild turkey and of course the goats on the farm across the way. We rank this stay one of the top 5 we’ve had through AirBnb. We hope to return when we have longer to stay. The driveway was a bit steep but we did make it with our front wheel drive…. But take caution. Well worth it to us! We will definitely be back!

This is our 3rd year coming to Brenda’s. We always like coming here to connect as a family. Mo and Brenda ate great hosts, always checking with our needs.

My friends and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at The Runaway Chalet. The driveway was a little tricky due to recent snowfall, but April suggested an alternative approach to enter driveway. We plan to return next year!

Carolyn's place was spotless and we felt very comfortable staying there. The view of the lake and mountains were amazing. It was wonderful to be able to take a walk every morning and feel the peace of God's presence. We will definitely be back!

logement bien situé, endroit calme et paisible au bord du lac Junaluska. Le lac est très beau entouré de montagnes. Waynesville est à côté avec tous les magasins nécessaires, l'accès à la blueridge parkway est à quelques minutes , parfait pour profiter de la vue sur les montagnes. Cherokee n'est pas loin et c'est appréciable de pouvoir rencontrer une nouvelle culture non européenne dans ce pays. le logement est propre et bien équipé, la terrasse est clairement un point positif. Le jardin est très beau avec beaucoup de fleurs. C'est un bon travail. Carolyn et son mari sont très gentils et très réactifs. Le dialogue est facile et les explications sont claires. J'espère revenir en automne afin de voir les couleurs de la forêt.

Wonderful place to stay with family and friends. Great kitchen with all the necessities to cook with while you’re there! Plenty of pantry and storage space to bring your own food. Definitely follow their GPS instructions and address they give you in separate email. It gets dark out there so keep that in mind when arriving. Minutes away from WCU and beautiful gated community We will be back!
