It is part of the Silkaatsnek Nature Reserve, home of Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Kudu, Impala & various other Antelope, birds, etc. We are situated in the Hartbeespoort Dam area, which uses the slogan “Close to the City, Out of this World” for many reasons. There is no other place in South Africa where you can find such a variety of top quality activities and restaurants.

The Windsor- Hartbeespoort Dam

Escape from the city to this idyllic villa with uninterrupted dam views. A short one-hour drive from Johannesburg makes The Windsor the perfect getaway for friend and family trips and breakaways for small teams. A beautifully appointed villa with free-flowing living spaces which open onto the patio and pool deck to enjoy the warm South African summer and picture-perfect sunsets. Enjoy a boat cruise on the dam, a ride up the cableway, or game drives in the nearby Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

Coucal Cottage

This self-catering unit is situated near the Hartbeespoort Aerial Cableway on the slope of the Magaliesberg and has a panoramic view of Hartbeespoortdam and surrounding areas. The unit is separate from the main house with a private entrance, porch and parking space. The Cottage has a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge, toaster kettle and frying pan (makes a lovely breakfast or stir-fry). A mobile braai is also available. We will set up a table and two chairs in the garden.

The cottage has a solar and battery backup system which provides power to essential appliances during load shedding.

Kosmos Heights Self Catering Accom. - Unit One

Unit 1 is a Luxury apartment suitable for 2 guests (unfortunately no children) with amazing views over the dam. There is one bedroom fitted with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with 2 showers and a Jacuzzi bath and fully equipped kitchen. The unit is not wheelchair friendly, as there is a step leading to the bathroom.

Please make sure you have selected the correct number of guests. Prices are charged per guest, per night. Set on the Kosmos shoreline, this Monaco Style Development offers a Mediterranean feel with a touch of thatch and magnificent uninterrupted views of the dam.
