The Birds Nest was the perfect place to stay. It was quiet and peaceful but still only 15 minutes away from Covington. Susan and Kathryn were wonderful hosts and were easy to communicate with. If I am ever back in the area I would stay here again.

I don't remember receiving instructions of what to do at checkout. Maybe I missed it. The parking could be better, but it was a very nice house.

We loved our stay. The space was clean, the location was fantastic, and our host was excellent. Being right on the square was wonderful, as we didn’t have to worry about driving or parking. Highly recommend!

Larry and his wife were phenomenal host. I called them with a hot water issue, and they were very responsive, quick to rectify and offered an alternative to be proactive. The unit had all our needs. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessities, plenty of towels and wash cloths, the place was decorated beautifully and was very clean which I appreciated. They were very accommodating, and I would definitely book with them again on my next visit.

We loved this place, born and raised right here in the county, but our closing got delayed so it was a last-minute booking for us for pleasantly surprised when we got there we felt right at home had everything that we needed. It was a private location. We felt safe and it was easy to get to everything. Wish we could stay longer. And I was I just cleaned everything out looking at everything in the trunk empty everything I pull up in dirt.

The property is in a perfect location, was very clean and orderly and was extremely cozy. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Macon, whether it's for a short trip or a long stay

I can't say enough great things about our stay. From making the reservation to the time we left, the owner was responsive and professional. The space was perfect for our needs. Very well kept and clean. We had a small hiccup with parking but I think it was resolved with ease and a very quick response. Check in and out instructions were clear and concise. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future. Very reasonable price for the location.

Great location - bars, restaurants, music venues, Capricorn, Redding, and Tubman museums all within a few blocks. Easy short drives to H&H and the Big House. You have to pay to park on the street or in a parking garage but it's only $6 per 24 hours. It's on the 3rd floor but there are two elevators both of which are very quick to arrive if not waiting on you. We were concerned about the noise from the bar below but with a bluetooth speaker and a white noise app we totally drowned it out and there was no need for earplugs. FYI the coffeemaker is a Keurig knockoff we came prepared with grounds and filters so bring pods instead. It was clean - we would stay there again.

Exactly as listed. Angela was incredibly helpful with excellent food recommendations. She’s a wonderful hostess, if ever in the area, I’ll definitely try to be back.

The beds were comfortable and the morning coffee was a wonderful addition to the quick stay!

I loved this place! It was a nice little walk from the Airbnb to the center of Covington (15-20 minutes walk). The community is AMAZING so cute and peaceful. Everyone there is super friendly! The only “issue” I had was when I tried to work from home there. If you are planning on doing this, I suggest bringing your own hotspot because the wifi here can only support one streaming device at a time in order to not have buffering. I know that is not a necessity so that’s why it’s still 5 stars because this place is great!! But I did want to add that in case anyone else was wanting to work off the WiFi while you are there. :) This place is fantastic! I will 100% stay here again if this place is available the next time I go to Covington!

I had a great stay for the weekend. The space was cozy, clean, and pet-friendly, which was a huge plus. Check-in was seamless, and the location was easy to find. The bed was comfortable, and having a fan in the bedroom was a nice touch. As mentioned in other reviews, you can hear footsteps from the main house above, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me, especially given the great price. Overall, I felt safe and comfortable and would stay again.
