Great place to stay great location

A delightful experience made possible by the property's layout. The unexpected sights of kangaroos grazing at dawn and dusk added to the charm of staying here. It is the ideal place for people who enjoy peace and quiet.

Such a perfect place to stay, we felt right at home and would highly recommend to others. The quirky retro styling and sweets decor are divine. The space is beautifully clean and well considered. The property is so central and within walking distance to all the shops. We frequently sat out on the veranda, and with the shed door down and all the greenery from the neighbouring trees, it was a lovely peaceful place to be. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay Ellen

Wonderfully clean and bright and in a great location. We loved our stay in Bendigo and would definitely stay again. Comfy beds and plenty of pillows and blankets. Everything you need is provided, we had an excellent stay and felt at home here.

Fantastically located, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Matt’s AirBnB - I specifically came to Bendigo for the Frida Kahlo exhibition. I found the apartment to be a really lovely place to chill with so many terrific tourist spots, cafes/restaurants and key retail shops within easy walking distance. I’ll definitely be back !

We had a lovely weekend stay. Gorgeous home with all the creature comforts. Secure backyard full of fruit trees, it was perfect for our little dog. Comfy beds, spacious bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. We made good use of the bbq and laundry facilities, we felt right at home.

We had a great stay and hopefully we’ll be able to come back around Easter next year. This was one of the cleanest and nicest homes we’ve ever stayed in.

Fabulous place to stay, with charm, if you’re looking for a house to stay in, in Bendigo. Clean, spacious and kitted out with everything you need. Good location, great cafe across the road.

We had a pleasant stay at Quiet Country Retreat, located right at the foot of Mount Alexander. The accommodation is great for a couple and has a separate living room and fully equiped kitchen. The verandah is a great place to relax with abundant bird sounds. Castlemaine is just a short drive away and has lots of food options.

I had a beautiful stay at Chester Cottage with a group of friends. I couldn’t fault it and will recommend to friends and hopefully return in the near future. The house was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and quiet. We especially loved the location, it feels secluded and private, but not remote. We loved walking through the Botanical Gardens to the Mill, to get a coffee, or to the pub. It was great not having to jump in the car every time we left. The house is full of character and charm, like staying at a friend’s house. Thanks for having us!

Jace's place was great for our stay: extremely convenient location, very well designed house, super clean, comfortable and with so many facilities. Jace responds promptly to any questions and is a very helpful host. If we come back to Bendigo we'll definitely be staying here again!

Great place to stay. Plenty of off street parking, 2 in garage and space for two under carport, And an extra in the driveway. Driveway kerb is shallow, so great for Hotrods. All clean and ready to go. Fridge, Microwave, Dishwasher, Toaster, Hot water, Heater and Cooler all good. Would stay again if traveling to Bendigo.

Olinda Cottage is a very comfortable and well appointed home, a real gem of an Airbnb. All the amenities listed were supplied plus more. Our hosts were very responsive, and supplied detailed information and tips that made our stay very enjoyable. It is a short walk to local eateries and the centre of Bendigo, so it is well located to get around and visit local landmarks. We highly recommend Olinda Cottage, and we look forward to our next visit.
