Private Guesthouse On Country Land

One-bedroom guesthouse with a private entrance, kitchen, pantry, bathroom, laundry room, & bedroom which has a desk, king size bed, & spacious closet. A pack n play & a twin mattress are also available. We allow guests to enjoy our breezeway porch that has an outdoor fireplace & a view into the wooded backyard that extends for 12 acres. We are a four minute drive from our quaint Van Alstyne downtown, one hour from DFW airport, & near several wedding venues. EXCELLENT option for long-term stays!

Our guesthouse has all the amenities that you should come to expect with travel for a quality stay. You will have keyless entry with your own parking space within our fenced in property. Our place is ideal for solo travelers, business travelers, and couples (2 person max). No smoking, or pets.

Studio, Balcony, Lake View, Fenced Yard & Parking

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Amazing view of the lake from the balcony and studio. Modular couch can be used for sleeping if a third person, but it’s best suited for 2 people. In walking distance to the free neighborhood lake front park. Enjoy a firepit and propane bbq grill in the fenced back yard downstairs. Hang out in the modern studio or great balcony. Unit is not well suited for children and the balcony has gaps big enough for a dog or child to get on the roof.

The Countryside Suite

This country suite is located on a beautiful property right outside city limits. Comfortable queen bed, full-size sofa bed, desk, tv, mini fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Everything you need for your stay! The room is attached to a shop about 1 acre from our main house. Shop area isn’t used much, but if needed during your stay, you will be notified prior to use. Van Alstyne is a quaint small town with vintage shops and restaurants. Come enjoy our little slice of heaven!

Country Escape on 60 acres with Pond &Tiki Island

Escape into paradise. While attached to the main house, it has its own entrance and is separated by a large enclosed shared space featuring an outdoor dining area, cozy outdoor living area, and pool table—ideal for relaxing or entertaining. Step outside to explore the property: a pond with a private island complete with a tiki bar and fire pit—ideal for weddings, retreats, or family gatherings. Horses, chickens, and geese roam the grounds, adding to the peaceful country charm.

The quiet and private guest house is tucked behind a large historic home south of downtown Sherman, TX. It is traditional in design and decor.
