This simple 12 x 12 foot north woods structure is well-maintained & clean. Penny's Peak is a visually secluded rustic campsite. Guests have full access to our groomed hiking trails and stunning wilderness.

Enjoy serene North woods seclusion just two and a half miles from Grand Marais! At the end of a foot path you'll find yourself at this charming off-grid cabin set in the forests of the Lake Superior bluff. This quaint cabin is filled with windows bringing views of the surrounding wood. It features a polished/rustic interior complete with well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and wood stove. Fall River access and guests now have access to a new wood-fired sauna and off grid-shower house.

The Lena Dome (5 min to Grand Marais)

The Lena dome is 5 minutes from downtown Grand Marais where you can eat at amazing restaurants, hear great live music, enjoy time by Lake Superior, and explore beautifully curated local shops. We’re located on Croftville Road, which locals call the "Walkers Road" - quiet to traffic and perfect for a casual stroll. The ridge top location has spectacular views through the trees - with lake views after the leaves drop. The property also boasts a fantastic wood fired cedar sauna - perfect for rejuvenating.
