Sunset Shepherds Hut

A self contained secluded luxury Shepherds Hut sleeps two near the Brecon Beacons national park with delightful valley views. Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

Built in the 1700s beside the river, this cosy little cottage is full of rustic character. Expect a warm welsh welcome both at the cottage and from the friendly village. Take a bracing wild water dip! Ideally situated for walkers and wildlife lovers 7 miles from the Brecon Beacons N P and 19 miles from Gower’s stunning beaches. No 2 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door is No 1 that is slightly smaller and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

Newly refurbished double room, with an en-suite bathroom. Room is up a flight of stairs. Free parking available. Pictures show separate private access. Room has wardrobe, chest of draws, bedside table & lamp. Fridge & freezer, microwave & kettle (with cups, plates & crockery).
