River Cottage is at the foothills of High Rocks (outlaw trail). It’s Convenient to Berwind lake which has a (swimming pool). Three comfortable porches to enjoy the beautiful mountains, the river in the backyard, the birds, and deer. We are Pet friendly.

The Starlite

The Starlite at Ruakh is a private luxury geodesic dome tucked along the edge of the woods on our 87-acre farm in Tazewell County, Virginia. Designed for quiet getaways, slow mornings, clear night skies, and time by the fire, this 500-square-foot dome blends the comfort of a thoughtfully finished stay with the feeling of being close to the land. Hatfield & McCoy and Outlaw trails are just a few short miles away with no trailering required through the ATV friendly town of Mullens. Parking is more than plentiful for several vehicles, ATV's and trailers. An added bonus is an on-site carwash, and gas, grocery and restaurants less than a mile away!

Take a step back in time. Rural America. Before fast food chains, and even before Walmart... Surrounded by Mountains and conveniently located, direct access to Warrior Trailhead and High Rocks. Enjoy Wilmore Dam, or perhaps a day at Berwind Lake trout fishing, or hiking. This can be purchased with the main house or as a stand alone unit. If purchased together the price will be reduced to $40 a night. Guest will have entire space to themselves.
