If you looking for a home away from home, welcome to Gr8treks. We are a small family on a big farm and do everything ourselves. You can expect to find us out in the gardens on most days. Help is welcome from fellow gardeners who need some green therapy. We do not have refuse services so encourage recycling. Water is also very precious to us so please me mindful not to waste water and electricity. This is my family home and we like our guests to feel as though they are at home too.

With amazing views across the lake, this secure estate offers a comfortable, restful stay. Birding, waterskiing, raft cruises on the lake, cycling and hiking are on offer. Perfectly situated to nearby wedding venues and Tala Game Reserve, as well as Durban Skydivers, the venue also caters for small functions and provides 'morning after the wedding breakfasts'.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. There are two bedrooms. One double room and one room with two singles. There is a loft upstairs for the kids to sleep. The view of the mountain is beautiful. The kids can run around on the lawn and there is plenty of space for them to play. We have a number of hiking routes as well as an indigenous forest. There are also paragliding flights on offer. No experience required.

Serendipity Farm Stay in Beautiful Byrne Valley

Beautiful farm stay on the hills with stunning 360 degree Forest and Mountain views in the stunning Byrne valley, we have routes for mountain biking or hikes, including routes in the local forest, fishing at the nearby dams including the local dam. We have feeding in the morning and afternoon of the cattle and piglets. We have lovely braai facility at the cottage with spectacular views for a sundowner.
