We had a great 2 night stay in Judith’s cute place with the sunny poolside deck. It’s small, but bigger than it looks in photos and we were very cosy and comfortable. It’s such a great location if you want to hike the redwoods, but also be a short drive to the beaches of Santa Cruz. The neighbourhood is full of adorable homes and felt extremely safe.

We had a phenomenal stay! The serene gardens surrounding the property are exceptionally well cared for, providing a peaceful escape from any unwanted noise. You can enjoy the most beautiful sunset views here. I cannot express enough how wonderful Marc is! When we arrived in the evening, he prepared a charcuterie board and offered us wine and blankets, allowing us to comfortably relax outdoors while taking in the scenery. In addition to his delicious and beautifully prepared breakfasts, he stocked our room with fresh local berries, chocolates, and water. He even started the fireplace for us each evening. We have stayed in many places around the world, but Marc is truly the best host we’ve encountered! He treats guests like a considerate, generous, and welcoming friend. While Marc respects guests’ privacy, we found ourselves looking forward to our conversations with him. If you’re looking for tranquility nestled in beautiful surroundings with the most gracious host, this is it!

David’s place was a perfect spot for our spring break adventure. David is super nice and a responsive host but is out shadowed by his sweet dog Drummer who we loved. The studio is small (as described) but worked well for us and had a great kitchen so we could cook our own meals. Would stay here again for sure!

This apartment was exactly as listed! Beautiful view with small porch that had a small table perfect for a romantic dinner. Surrounding area has a lot of food options and a local saloon downstairs. Walking distance to the mission. Cara was very responsive when it came to asking any questions. I would definitely recommend this location. 10/10 stay!

It was nice that we were able to park in the driveway. The neighbors dog can be a little loud sometimes but she is very considerate and has ear plugs for your convenience. Overall, it was a great spot for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yurt! The outdoor shower and toilet took some getting used to, but the yurt itself is extremely cozy, the shower is hot, and the bathroom is very private despite being outdoors. The yurt is a bit tricky to get to (James gives very good instructions) and the property definitely is not ADA friendly given its place in the mountains. It was very chilly while we stayed about the gas furnace kept us very warm. Overall, it was a wonderful introduction to the Redwood forests with tons of things to do in the mountains and highly accessible to Santa Cruz and Monterey. If you're looking for a more adventurous day, we highly recommend checking it out!

We had a really short stay at Lynne's place, but it was a good one. All through the process, Lynne was highly communicative and friendly. We (the family of four) arrived very late at night, and Lynne gave us clear instructions on how to get in, where to park, etc. The place itself was ample for four (in fact it was a lot bigger than I had anticipated based on the pictures). Everything seemed in place and well organized. It is really a delightful studio. And we would love to visit again.

This place is such a gem! We loved meeting the horses and Darlene&Todd were great hosts and got everything ready for us. We didn’t get to chat as we got in late on a Saturday but we will certainly come back. We got some great sleep also. Thank you Darlene&Todd!
