The cottage was beautiful. The word of the stay was cute, everything was just perfect and the views were amazing. Although we only had a short stay it was comfortable, clean and cosy. We would definitely recommend. Jo was easy to contact and very welcoming on arrival and check out. Thank you x

Bridget’s cottage was absolutely tremendous! It felt homely, warm and welcoming! It was private and out of the way without being miles away from what you needed. We stayed with our 18 month old and dog who had a lovely time too. The stair gate on the bedroom was great as it gave our son freedom to wonder about upstairs whilst we got ready. There was also plenty of room for the travel cot too. Bridget was excellent at giving local recommendations and instructions for the cottage. We tried Rye in Frome which served excellent coffee! So thank you for that too. A perfect Christmassy getaway! Felt like the holiday! Thank you so much xx

La maison de Lyn est superbe, propre, joliment décorée, confortable et, somme toute, très accueillante. Il y a beaucoup de place et la maison est située pas loin du centre ville. Lyn est une hôte accueillante et attentionnée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner et sa gentillesse en général.

This house was beautiful with beautiful views and a lovely garden. The house was bigger than I expected which was perfect for what I needed it for. Would highly recommend.

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Steve’s cottage is a lovely place - cosy and beautifully decorated, with all you could need for your stay. The bed was comfy, kitchen well-equipped and a great shower. Also nice to have off-street parking. Would definitely stay again when I am next in the area. Thanks Steve.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely flat. It was situated in an ideal location for both the Hoe/seafront and the city centre. The flat was well equipped and warm and the parking space was a real bonus. William was attentive , asking us if we had arrived safely and if everything was okay. He responded immediately when we had a minor problem. The welcome goodies were much appreciated. Thank you, we will be visiting again.

We had a lovely stay at this flat, so close to the centre of town and lovely view of bath out of the windows in the lounge. Clean, nicely decorated and furnished & had all the amenities we needed. Really felt at home and had a great trip.

Leila's place is just lovely, incredible views across the harbour and out to sea. Leila was super friendly and responsive when we had a problem with the bathroom radiator, getting it sorted same day. The only heads up for us was that the sofabed is listed as available, but after booking and paying it emerged that a substantial amount of extra money is required for sofabed bedding. I would suggest that this is made clear in the listing details. Otherwise, really happy with the stay. thank you Leila.

The unit is in a great location, clean, and has a great view. Loved the added safety with the autolock for both the apartment and complex doors.

First time in Bath, UK and Helen’s place was the perfect introduction to the city. Located across from the beautiful green park, just at the cusp of the beautiful city. Apartment was clean and warm. There was a book of very clear instructions that made the stay hassle free. Helen included local recommendations of places to visit and eat at. So convenient. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit bath! Great job Helen!

Lovely place to stay with amazing views and only a 10 min stroll into bath with coffee shops on the way. I like the bed and actually and a really good sleep which is not always the case. Lovely area outside the bedroom to sit in and read or just relax. Very nice host and would highly recommend.

A great location, parking very expensive in the city so don't get caught out. The place was really clean, nice modern and comfy double bed.

Très bel appartement, lumineux, charmant, propre, décoré avec minutie, très bien placé dans Bath. Les recommandations sont avisées. Nous avons adoré le restaurant The Chequers: délicieux et accueil chaleureux. L’emplacement de parking nous avait été réservé. Nous sommes ravis et recommandons ce logement à 100%!

Myself and two friends travelled from London and had an absolutely amazing well needed break! The property was absolutely beautiful and the location. We walked to Looe following the recommendations and had an amazingly mindful walk in the natural beauty of Cornwall. We are already planning our next trip back! Rob is a brilliant host, they property was better than the pictures and the communication was excellent

We had a wonderful stay, the views and surrounding area are stunning. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing short break in the sunshine, wish we could have stayed longer - perhaps next year as would love a return visit! Thanks

Despite bad weather and a couple of power cuts we had a lovely few days away. The property felt private and not overlooked and was well equiped with everything we needed in the kitchen. A lovely beach is a short walk away, we also took a short drive into looe for a cuppa and cake. We would definitely stay longer next time.

A beautiful place with lots of space . We went over Easter with 9 adults 2 children and 2 dogs . The property is very spacious and all the bedrooms are a good size . The downstairs games room is huge fun :) The location is excellent with a cable car to get down to the beach and lots of pubs / restaurants very close to the house . Torquay Marina is a 10 minute drive but well worth it . We had fun crabbing at the Marina and a superb roast lunch in Twenty one . Simon and Charlie were excellent hosts and answered any queries very quickly . Highly recommend this property.

We stayed over the long Easter weekend at Jacuelines place with our extended family for a special birthday. The home is beautiful, exactly like the photos, and felt large enough for us to be together and have space at the same time. The garden is also lovely, with a beautiful pond and lots of space for games - the shed had plenty equipment we used from racquets to balls to hammocks! The kitchen was well stocked and easy to navigate - we did a lot of cooking whilst there and it was easy to cook for 15 of us without issue. Staying here really made the time together extra special. I should add the host was receptive, helpful and accessible - v v easy to navigate the process of renting her home and sorting out anything we needed - thank you!

Beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. It is also huge so lots of space to make yourself at home. All appliances, white goods etc in perfect working order and all furniture comfortable and tidy, linens and towels very clean etc. The house throughout was very clean. Parking permits available on arrival so very easy and we had no issues with parking during our week long stay. Easy to walk to the seafront, shopping mall, aquarium etc and we enjoyed the walks. Very small asks would be to provide more dinner plates, side plates and bowls. As a family of 5 we went through everything in a day but it’s not enough to fill the dishwasher so no break from washing up on hols! A few basics like salt, pepper, oil would be welcomed to help with home cooking. As I said very small asks. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home away from home for anyone travelling to Plymouth.

An absolutely unique and beautiful house, set amongst lovely grounds. The Christmas tree in the living room was such a nice touch as was the welcome basket full of goodies. We can thoroughly recommend exploring the woods and beach path behind the property. We loved sitting by the fire reading and hanging out in the cinema room in the evening. Thank you for such a quiet and peaceful stay.

A perfect place for our family get together. The 2 year old was delighted with toys to play with. The 20 somethings and 30 somethings loved the pool table and the hot tub. The oldies liked the peaceful surroundings and the views. The dogs loved the garden. We all loved the beautiful house, comfortable accommodation and the warmth from the AGA in the kitchen. And a bit of mystery and a secret.....all I will say is Smugglers' Top
