Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Highland Shepherd Huts are located in the heart of Cairngorm National Park, offering the ultimate glamping experience. Perfect for two or 4 for either a well needed escape or romantic break. Experience nature and adventure in our shepherd's huts situated in 16 acres of woodland at Mondhuie near Nethy Bridge. We accept well behaved dogs and the hut only has room for 1 large dog or 2 small dogs. We have to charge for this and the cost is £30 per dog per stay. Please leave cash on departure.

My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Water is provided by the Cromdale hills via filtration system. The Cabin is fully insulated and heated for a cosy environment. Entertainment consists of TV, video & bluetooth boom bar speaker. Placement of The Cabin is close to the back of the house which provides privacy for guests. WiFi is available.

Two large glamping lodges located in the heart of Cairngorm National Park on a working horse farm. Each features an open plan kitchen-dining-sitting-room; a separate bedroom with walk around double bed with Emma mattress (new July 2024); and a shower room with electric shower. There is a lovely deck where you can sip a glass of wine looking out over horses to the countryside of Strathspey. All linen and towels are provided to set your holiday off to a good stress-free start.
