We had a lovely time here. The house is well equipped and the views of the beach and the sea from the conservatory are amazing, with the gate from the car park down onto the beach an added bonus. There were 6 of us and it was a comfortable fit, but 8 people would be fine too. We were just out of Easter holiday season so Elie was very quiet, no lights on in most of the houses along the High Street , Liberty etc.

One of our favourite properties we have ever stayed in from Air B and B. The lodge was very cosy with beautiful views particularly from the kitchen and sitting room, of the sea on one side and open fields on other. Great location also- just yards outside was the door was the choice of beautiful cliff walk or Coldingham Sands beach. Kitchen is also very well equipped, although due to the position of the lighting was a little dark when it trying to preparing food as you end blocking the light with your back. Bed and sofa very comfy! Only difficulty was that we struggled to work the shower in bedroom but we’re able to use the one over the bath in the main bathroom so wasn’t really a problem Would love to visit again and will be recommending to others!

Our first visit to Harbour House will definitely not be our last!!! We had such a wonderful stay in an adorable cottage with lots of nice touches, including linens from The White Company and soap and lotion from Neom, a well-stocked kitchen, a gorgeous welcome basket, and spa-like towels. It’s clear that the owners spared no expense in updating the house and furnishing it with style and comfort. The garden was beautiful, perfectly maintained, with super comfy furniture, and we were able to spend hours out there enjoying the views, the sunshine and the sea air. Lynne was a super responsive host who provided everything we needed for a great stay.

We stayed at Mar House for a holiday with our children and grandchildren. The instructions before arrival were timeous and clear. The house had been decorated to a high standard and was accurately reflected in the photos. We were delighted to find the requested high chair and travel cot for our wee ones. The house more than met our needs and we appreciated the milk, juice and shortbread left as a welcome gift. The Tunnock’s tea cakes on the beds were a big win 😊 The house was a 15 min walk into town. We definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Had a great time staying here. Really relaxing and close to local shops for anything you need food wise. Beautiful surrounding. Izzy was very helpful with anything we needed and was an amazing host. Couldn’t of asked for more

We had a really lovely stay and the view was so breathtaking that all you wanted to do was look at it. I am a little bit disabled and found the stairs and gradient to garden a bit difficult. It was manageable for me and well worth the effort but people need to be aware of this if they have mobility problems. The fisherman’s cottage was very well equipped with everything you need for cooking the amazing local produce that is available. We loved the local smoked salmon and smokies from Arbroath. It is perfect for staying with well behaved dogs. We didn’t have one but the cottage is very dog friendly. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful. We had a really wonderful few days in this rustic fisherman’s cottage and will indeed return.

This is our second stay at Willies Caravan and would definitely recommend the van and Willie as a host! It’s perfectly situated, clean and has everything you need. Willie is a great host and responsive to questions… We will be back!!

Amazing caravan just a short walk from the beach and a local coop the entertainment complex is ideal for the kids the caravan was clean and tidy has that welcome feeling we cannot wait to visit again.

We had a great family stay and the space was perfect for the four of us. The caravan was incredibly well stocked with a lot of thoughtful amenities. The location was fantastic for exploring the beautiful East Lothian coast.

A great place to spend your vacation, or just a few days to relax and get away from the routine. Very attentive host and great to negotiate with.

This was our second stay at the Lodge and everything was as good the second time around. A lovely setting, with views across to the sea, loads of space inside the property (which is very comfortable and well-presented) and great facilities too. It offers peace and quiet but is also just a short walk or drive from Carnoustie with its beach, shops, restaurants and (if you are travelling with kids) a great adventure playground. Brian and Matt were great hosts (again). We hope to be back again before long!

I had a wonderful stay here. Very peaceful and I was lucky enough to have a cabin with beautiful views of Bass Rock and Tantallon castle. The cabin itself was well equipped, cosy and really quite big! There are large supermarkets just a short drive/bus ride away for any food supplies. Seacliff beach is also just a short walk away and is gorgeous at sunrise! As a host, Lisa was fantastic and went out of her way to accomodate me. The restaurant recs were great and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast at drift and dinner at Herringbone. The cabin itself is on a bus route and buses are every hour or so but I preferred to have a car for exploring North Berwick and further afield. If you are looking to escape city life I can't recommend this place enough. I never tired of the view and was sad to leave. Thanks Lisa!

Julie was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We found the accommodation to be exactly what we needed and had everything that we needed in situ. The views just a short walk from the house were breathtaking and a lovely area to walk your dogs. We will definitely be back again next year! Thanks Julie for the lovely break!

Fabulous location, quiet and peaceful yet within easy walking of the shops and the pubs. Communication with Ann was great. The house is amazing - had everything we needed and more! Beds very comfortable, showers fantastic! Secure garden a bonus with our dogs, decking and garden furniture perfectly placed. Secure parking for 2 cars. A true home away from home - couldn’t recommend enough.

We had a wonderful week at Jess’s place. The house is clean & beautiful with everything we needed to feel right at home. Our kids particularly loved their twin-room & having a little playground just outside the front door. Would definitely stay again & happily recommend.

Malcolm & Carrie were very attentive throughout our stay, and had great communication from the start. The house was exactly as described, with plenty of bedding / towels abs amenities. Everything was clearly marked abs explained from from the heating to the bins. We even had a few complimentary treats which were a lovely thought. We would thoroughly recommend Malcolm and Carrie, and would hope to visit again! Thank you! 😀

The place matched our needs perfectly, with more amenities than envisaged, such as additional dishwasher, oven and fridge. The location was ideal to get the family together for Christmas, and for accessing a stunning beach for dog walking. Views to die for.
