Combe Martin was much quieter than we remember from our last visit but was so easy to get to Ilfracombe and other places we wanted to visit. Found great places to eat and drink close by in the village, amazing walks and views and locals were all so friendly. The house was just perfect with everything we needed. It was excellent to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for my Mum, who is a bit unsteady on her feet. The log burner was easy to use and incredibly efficient, a lovely way to end the day. The kitchen was really well designed. Nic and Rick were really responsive and the check in and out was straightforward and very relaxed. Thanks Nic and Rick for a perfect weekend stay!

This is a lovely home from home and a perfect base for visiting Cardiff city which is a 25 min walk away or a 5/10 minute uber - Kath was very helpful and friendly and responsive - this is very obviously a home, which is lovely, and has everything needed for a stay - definitely recommend and we plan on returning.

Our stay at Annie's was fantastic. She and Paddy couldn't have been more helpful. The accomodation was all we had hoped it would be - loads of character, very well equiped, and very comfortable. We are hoping to return later in the year as it is an excellent base from which to explore the area and we loved it.

What a fantastic place to stay! Better than the photos , the art , decor and furnishings made this a stand out Airbnb. Very comfortable and easy to walk to great dog friendly cafes and pubs. The hosts communication was great and they left us a collection of lovely goodies… and milk in the fridge. Even dog trays for Ralph. Very thoughtful hosts and a perfect best ever Airbnb.

St Vincent’s is perfect in every way. As described it’s a very short walk down to the seafront and town. Wish we could have stayed longer as there’s so much to see and do in Lyme. Very comfortable bungalow with plenty of space. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean, fresh and modern with everything we needed.

Stylish beach house is exactly what it says it is. Very clean comfortable, lots of space. It is right in the heart of the pubs,restaurants,shops and beach. Would definitely recommend to a friend or relative. Tristan the host was amazing very helpful and kind. Would definitely like to go back there again some other time.

We stayed at Danni's for a local wedding, it was perfect. Loads of space and well equipped, had everything we needed for a great weekend!

Lovely homely place, a lot cosier than it looked in photos. We loved it and all the extras,cream tea, coffee,teas, cereal, bread, bacon and eggs . Wow Bathroom also had a lot of extras too. Few minutes from town and beach and shops and the parking is so useful. Thank you Tess x

Eine der tollsten Unterkünfte. Wunderbar gelegen an der Jurassic Coast, ruhig und mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Schön eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Die Kinder liebten den Pool, das Trampolin, die Playstation und die Fasane, die uns täglich besucht haben. Über den Coast Path erreicht man in wenigen Minuten Lyme Regis, sodass wir das Auto gar nie brauchten. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Lovely place to stay. The kids loved eating breakfast on the little balcony.

We only stayed at the lodge for one night but it was great! We were lucky enough to have lovely weather which meant we could have dinner on the sunny balcony, with great views. It was extremely clean throughout and well equipped. We would love to come back again!

Great 5 star place and location The only recommendation would be to change the Matress in the twin small bedroom as they are not in good condition I defo recommend this air bnb location We might come back in the future Thankyou Jasdeep

I visited for the evening to see my grandparents as I live in wales and they live in Devon. The bungalow was immaculate, helpful guide provided, the rooms are huge and the blankets and towels are a lovely touch. The shower was good too as it was really warm. The heating does take a while whilst on boost but once warmed up it’s lovely. We did feel a draft from the window and the curtains moved but we were in a storm so that’s understandable. Would have loved more sugars and maybe milk as there wasn’t a shop on site.

We had the most lovely stay here. The place was beautiful, secluded and peaceful. The sound of the river was great and the walks nearby were stunning. Beds were comfy, kitchen was fairly well equipped, showers were great and everything was clean. Melanie and Ian were both very communicative and very helpful with directions to the property, any questions we had were promptly answered and were very helpful with anything we needed. The slope down to the property is fairly steep. The hot tub was perfect and the heated pool was great even in the rain! Would recommend a stay here anytime

We’ve just returned from an amazing bank holiday weekend at Louise’s property, celebrating a joint 40th birthday with friends, and it couldn’t have been better. The weather was fantastic, so we spent most of our time enjoying the sunny garden and the pool, which was a huge hit with both kids and big kids! The pool was much larger than we expected and it was always the perfect temperature. We made great use of the BBQ and fire pit area, which was especially lovely at sunset. The house itself is beautiful. All the bedrooms are a great size and with stunning views, and the kitchen that had everything we needed and more. One afternoon, we walked across a couple of fields to The Blacksmith Arms pub, about 15 minutes away, and had a lush lunch. During the days, we watched birds in the garden, and at dusk, we were treated to the sight of bats swooping overhead. The kids also had a great time visiting the chickens. Thank you so much, Louise. We had a great time :-)

We chose Jo's place as it was close to Charmouth (11 mins) and Lyme Regis (14 mins by car). Our 6 year old son wanted to go fossil hunting. We arrived at Jo's cottage and she was there to greet us. She is very friendly and welcoming as well as her lovely dog Ruby. Jo also provided us with a travel cot and a changing mat for our 3 month old baby boy too, which was helpful. Jo provided us with a wheel barrow to carry our belongings to the Duck House as it was a little walk round the cottage. It's cosy and had all we needed. Our son liked the children's room he slept in and enjoyed the toys/games provided. My partner and my son did go in the swimming pool, however it was cold for our baby to go into. Jo did provide some bread, home made marmalade (that was lovely), butter, jam and milk. There was no hot water when we woke but when we contacted Jo she was straight on it and sorted it before we went out for the day. We enjoyed our stay - Thank you Jo.

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

Beautiful, spacious, unique place, with lovely decor and finished with elegance. Well thought out accommodation with everything you need. The place suited us perfectly for 9 guests. Exactly as described on the site. We struggled a bit with the amount of people to number of bathrooms, (1 bathroom, plus 1 en-suite) but not really an issue, just a bit of planning. The host, Rose was great, really responsive, approachable and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place and love to book again.

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

We loved our stay at Yvonne's, the apartment was cosy and felt very authentic to the farm surroundings, the patio was well sealed for our dog, we really appreciated the bread and fresh eggs from the chickens, and the view is stunning. Bonus was the very friendly turkey who came to say hello! Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely few days. The place was clean, tidy and relaxing. Debbie went out of her way to make it a lovely place to stay and to make sure our baby was comfortable too. I would recommend this place and we would use again in the future.

Superb cottage with very good facilities set in a great location to explore and enjoy Dorset and the Jurassic coast. We would return again.

We booked a really last minute holiday and arrived within a few hours of booking. The place was absolutely beautiful and so many comfortable places to chill around the house. The location was perfect as well, just what we were after! One of the best holidays we've had as a family!

Logement parfait ! D’abord sa situation : Très bien situé ; proche de bons pubs , départ de nombreux sentiers de randonnée et de lieux à visiter . Ensuite , ce lieu est extraordinaire ! Au calme avec une vue à couper le souffle. La décoration est parfaite , un vrai cocon , on s’y sent très bien. Cet endroit est très apaisant . La cheminée accentue cet apaisement. Je terminerai mon commentaire par l’accueil de notre hôte , très gentille , très réactive . Nous avons pu aller cueillir des légumes de la ferme et acheter de la viande de la ferme durant notre séjour . Ce logement vaut son statut de « perle rare ».
