It’s a perfect spot to unwind after a day in town, or get some time away to paint, write or reconvene with yourself, nature, or the one you love. Our property is a 3-acre lot w/ desert flora/fauna, stars, & quietness, yet only 10 mi. from UA. Horses add to the ambiance with a taste of ranch life.

Through the casita's panoramic windows, you can observe desert vegetation, birds, rabbits, coyotes, bobcats, javelinas, and deer. An evening bath in the jacuzzi under the starry sky will certainly remain in your memory for a long time.

Nestled at the foot of stunning Red Butte, Thunderbird Suite is southwestern decor with antique furniture. Just outside the glass doors, is a desert landscape of Saguaros & other Sonoran natural desert cactus & trees. Thunderbird is an independent, private suite added onto the main house, with a wall separating it. There is laundry available just next to the private bath with shower & tub. Come stay at the Ocotillo Casita at Cat Mountain! Located feet from Tucson Mountain Park and inside Cat Mountain Station, this location is perfect for nature lovers and style hunters alike. The building was built around a John Wayne museum in the 1950's, but converted into three 1,200 sq. ft casitas in 2023. The unique décor in the space is locally sourced, creating a vintage ranch vibe surrounded by Ocotillo. It is perfect for travelers looking to relax in the Sonoran Desert.
