Wester Lonemore is a large, south facing cottage. This cottage enjoys a superb setting, with incredible and far-reaching views across the sea to the hills beyond. Large windows drink in the seascape and ever-changing views of skies and sunrises. The country gardens are a real feature of the cottage, attracting many species, including goldfinch, curlews, oyster catchers, osprey and red kite are seen close by. Surrounded by nature. Situated beside the shores of the Cromarty Firth with spectacular views to the Black Isle our cottage sleeps six comfortably, and is ideally placed for touring, with access to superb beaches, forests, hill walking, golf, etc. The NC 500 route is minutes away. One of the best natural harbours in Europe, the Royal Navy had a base here until 1956. Now oil rigs line up in the Firth and liners visit every week in the summer season. Invergordon's spectacular murals are a must see!
