Cottage is situated on 5 beautiful acres, along the Sheep river. Private & quiet, 5 minutes from Turner Valley. Play at the river, lounge on the deck, relax in the hot tub! Fish, hike, climb cliffs, swimming holes, explore. In winter, cross-country ski, snow shoe (provided), snow mobile. The cottage sleeps 6 inside (1 queen bed & 2 sofa beds). 4 season space that is perfect for resting between Bragg Creek activities. 12'x14' main floor (3.7mx4.3m) Queen size bed located in the ladder-accessed loft space. If you are coming to bike, hike, horseback ride, or enjoy the dining and shopping opportunities, Bragg Creek welcomes you! We describe it as rustic as the toilet is a porta-potty (serviced weekly, cleaned between guests) and there is no shower or bath. The cabin is insulated, heated, and there is running potable water.

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
