Do you need an escape from home? Our quaint one room studio cottage is located in our avocado grove with great beautiful views in the hills of De Luz. It has a king size bed, 3/4 bath, kitchenette with 10 cu ft fridge and stove (but no oven), gas BBQ, dining area and private deck ~ it sleeps up to two people. The cottage has it's own entrance and driveway just past the main drive. As you relax on the deck or from the house you will enjoy the panoramic views and a view of the lake. The cozy cottage is approx. 700 sq ft and is adjacent to our home on the property. We have "natural AC" (i.e. no AC but fans and lots of windows). Also included is satellite TV and Wifi, and a continental breakfast usually consisting of bread for toast, fruits, coffee and tea. The cottage is a great destination for a "get away from it all" retreat, for hikers and for cyclists and motorcyclists that want to enjoy the back country roads and vistas. You will enjoy the gorgeous drive to our cottage with the windy, narrow tree lined roads. The Temecula farmers market is a popular destination on Saturdays, and Temecula has a fabulous selection of wineries for tastings and dining. In Fallbrook, there are a variety of great restaurants, cute shops including a retro candy store,and a popular art gallery as well. We are located close to the Santa Margarita River Trail which is a 6 mile loop trail located near Fallbrook, California that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is used for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. It is accessible year-round. The Santa Rosa Plateau is another fantastic hiking spot, with vernal pools and gorgeous rolling hills and panoramic views. We are located 7.5 miles (15 mins) from Fallbrook and we are 25 minutes from Temecula, and 45 - 50 minutes from Oceanside. In addition, we are also approx 1 hour from Downtown San Diego and the SD airport. Just an FYI, we are 15 minutes from the closest store in Fallbrook, and the roads to get here as mentioned before are windy but lovely. We also have 2 sweet indoor/outdoor kitties that might stop by for a visit but we do not allow them in the guesthouse. Just to note, living in a rural area we share our property with the local critters that pass through such as coyotes, raccoons, etc. In additions to the furry critters, we also have the insect type. We try not to use pesticides so you potentially could see a bug now and again. Weekly rental possible.

Summit Cabin on the Rocks

Perched atop a miniature mountain with expansive views extending from the Pacific Ocean to the peak of San Gorgonio (highest mountain in SoCal), this concept cabin is like a disintegrated house spread across about a 1 acre area. The interior consists of a lofted queen size bed with a large skylight for stargazing, as well as a lounge space with an oversized leather sofa. The highlight of the cabin is the outdoor space. It features a cabana with a day-bed, bean bag, swing chairs, a kitchen, etc

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The apartment is above our detached garage with a private balcony. Stunning views of city lights and rolling hills. If you have little ones we have a fire pit for smores. Our full size kitchen and laundry facilities within the apartment. Located about a 1/2 hour from the beach as well as central to the vineyards here in North County SD and Riverside County. Great place to stay for location weddings in the area, work, yoga or leisure. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, situated in an organic citrus farm on a 27-acre private land with mountain and valley view of citrus and avocados groves. This unit has its own private entrance and a private deck with outdoor sink, BBQ and dining area. The indoor living space is about 930 sf, and the deck area is about 800 sf. The house is powered by solar array and Tesla batteries, so we won’t have a blackout even during power outages as long as not a lot of AC being used.

Winterwarm Cottage is the guest house of my rustic mini-farm. It offers a cozy, comfortable getaway and a chance to meet and mingle with a variety of friendly farm animals . Centrally located between the beaches and Temecula Wine Country, both an easy 30 minute drive away, and right around the corner from the Fallbrook Winery. Included in your stay of 3 days or more can be a complimentary wine tasting at the beautiful Fallbrook Winery, ($40 value) or with a 2 day stay, a 2 for 1 tasting.
