A great stay at this lovely, cozy home—yet again! Already looking forward to returning in July. You’ll find it all here: It’s quiet, with all the amenities you need (and nothing you don’t), the pretty water views, and a location that provides access to good restaurants and the beautiful Acadia National Park.

The house was an amazing location! We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises & sunsets while grilling dinners in the evenings! The house was very clean and Robert was a great host. I mess him to ask if there was an axe on site. He responded that there wasn’t but that he would get firewood for us the next morning. It was so awesome to sit around the fire at night and hear the loons calling. It was very relaxing. We had to travel at least an hour to do the site seeing we wanted to do but we expected that. Overall was great and I’d recommend the house to others!!

Chausey was a great host and was very responsive when I reached out. The place was well kept, very cozy, and matched the list of amenities listed on the AirBNB listing. It truly felt like a home away from home. I really enjoyed the location and how it was tucked away but within driving distance of downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

My cousin and I spent a week at holly's house. We made our day trips from there. All the sights were easily and quickly accessible by car from there. Whether in the north, south, east or west of Maine. We enjoyed spending our evenings in a fully equipped house. From check-in to check-out, everything was uncomplicated. We really enjoyed our time there.

Right from the beginning of the booking, the experience was exceptional. Communication was great, house was perfectly set-up, clean and peaceful! All of the amenities, furniture, and furnishings in the home were perfect for a lake house! Little details were thought of by the hosts —even a bouquet of flowers. Highly recommend this space for families who want a peaceful and spread out home for their family but also great spaces to bring everyone together. Truly an exceptional experience in all areas.

Ohhhh my goodness. What a hidden slice of heaven! Yes…there is a 5 mile trek down a bumpy dirt road, but don’t let that deter you, once you pull in the driveway…you’ll understand it was well worth it. The main house and two tiny houses were completely stocked. There wasn’t anything that wasn’t there. Everything was cleaned and well maintained and in great working order. There was plenty of space for our three families to spread out. If you’re looking for a peaceful get away…this is it. We would definitely look into this place again!!!!!!

Beautiful and cozy place. Had a great stay. Since we visited during Fall season, the place was peaceful and full of Fall colors. Acadia national park is nearby and has some great places to visit during leaf peeping time.

The place was very beautiful. Its a perfect location for stay if you are planning to visit Acadia National Park. The place itself was very clean and well maintained. Kathleen was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. They also have access to the shore at a 2 min walk which is a good spot to hangout during sunrise and sunset.

I enjoyed a recent 2 night stay at Naomi’s place, and there was much to love about it! While it was definitely a hike to and from Bar Harbor, returning back to the privacy & peacefulness of this property in the evening made it absolutely worth while. Above all we greatly appreciated how clean the unit was upon arrival. The beautiful sunset views and access to kayaks to enjoy the pond were a major plus. The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for, and we’d definitely stay with Naomi again next time we visit the area!

I would highly recommend. Roger was a pleasure speaking with and I loved how peaceful the property is. It felt like I was in my own world with beautiful views on both sides of the barn. Also, the suite itself was clean, cozy and had plenty of space.

This is a great place to stay, even better than it appears in the photos. It was not just clean, it was immaculate - and for an extremely observant nurse - that was awesome. The unit had easy access with a slight gradient path and only two steps - which was very helpful for us as seniors. The firm bed was very comfortable. Barbara was responsive and thought of everything, including having delicious specialty coffee for us - Thanks. She even had a cooler in the closet for us to use when we went to Acadia National Park. Like I said, she truly thought of everything. If we return to this area of Maine, we would love to stay again. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved our week long stay! The cabin is awesome and location is perfect. We spent time at Bar Harbor and Acadia. The lake is beautiful and so peaceful. John and Maria were great.

Had a great time. The house was clean and orderly. We had easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, they were only 30-40 minutes away. We also enjoyed the very short walk to the water front to enjoy the views and the cool breeze off the water we even saw a lobster boat one evening! Definitely would recommend and stay here again!

Robert’s place is amazing! If you’re looking for a place to feel at home, while away from home, then this is it! My brother & I are here for work & have stayed several different places so far we enjoyed staying with Robert so much, that we booked for another month.

Host was very friendly and informative but allowed us privacy as well. The cabin was charming, very clean and had more than what we needed for our stay. It was quiet and serene with beautiful views but close to shopping and dining establishments. We would highly recommend staying in this rental... it has it all!

Cute and tidy. Lovely little place. Victoria & Ken have included every imaginable item that will make your stay comfortable. Extremely well supplied kitchen, blankets and fans galore to cover all season use. Beds and furniture are comfortable and well placed. Scenery is fantastic. The only thing I can think of that could use a little bit of attention is there is no walkway- it’s only grass. So mud or icy conditions would be a bit challenging. We HIGHLY recommend this quiet, beautiful location, spotlessly clean, and well cared for place. And the hosts are great!

Kurt and Jackiee were incredibly helpful and friendly. We loved staying at their cozy little cottage that had great views of the nearby lake! Would recommend to others looking to stay in a more secluded area that is still a good distance from Acadia National Park.

Absolute perfect place to get away from everything, while still being close to all that Maine offers. The cabin has everything you could need and then some, and the view and proximity of the lake is breathtaking. Ouda was super helpful and friendly. This is one of the rare airbnb listings where the pictures and description match the reality (and then some because trying to capture what it's like to look at the lake as the sun comes up is impossible). We're already planning on coming back next year, 100% recommended!

Debbie's place was lovely! Incredibly beautiful area, comfortable and cozy living room and good location. Both Bangor and Acadia aren't too far which is quite nice. The one downside is that the place is not within delivery distance for restaurants. But it's only a 20 minute drive to Ellsworth so it is easy to drive to restaurants! Would definitely stay there again.

This location is absolutely beautiful! The incredible views on this private lot are enough to make it worth it. The cottage has a modern touch, with a rustic outdoor feel. Perfect for a little family getaway. It truly is right on the lake, and has plenty to do in the surrounding towns for food and shopping. Deb is a very communicative host. Highly recommend booking with her and her family on their quaint farm!

Our family had a lovely stay at the Lupine Cottage. Such a peaceful spot. We enjoyed getting out on the water in the kayaks and sitting out in the Adirondack chairs listening to the loons and barred owls call. Nice central location for exploring Acadia and the mid coast. Thanks Kim & Stacy for the precious memories!

Great person, she really went over and above what she would have been expected. The dock with boats were great, my boys love the lake. The place was clean and very well decorated. Lots of extra appliances. Washer and dryer is very nice when you are on a lake. Nothing to complain about. If you stay here and especially if you have kids you will be very happy.
