We affectionately call it Frog Stomp because our neighbors have a pond and during the summer there are hundreds of baby tadpoles that are make their way around the guesthouse. So if you are scared of little tiny frogs, this is not the place for you.🐸Frog Stomp is 1BR 1BA. It has a kitchen with fridge, stove, and kurieg coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower. This little cabin is the perfect place for a quite get away . A country setting where you can enjoy walking trails and a spring fed creek perfect for wading and swimming. At night sit by the fire pit and enjoy the country atmosphere with an abundance of wildlife. The cabin sits on 68 acres you can explore and has 2 bedrooms /1 bath sleeps up to 5. Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville .

The Legacy Suite

The suite is located in South Huntsville area. It is spacious and cozy, perfect for a comfortable stay. Centrally located and in close proximity to shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway or a business trip. Welcome to your (earthen) home away from home! This earthen home was constructed by Mr. Bill Adams, a direct descendent of Pres. John Adams and a veteran who served in the Allied occupation of Japan following WWII. Going further back, this was one of the first areas to be settled. It was part of the "Sims Settlement" and was defended during the War of 1812 by James and William Slaughter. Settlers farmed the fertile land near Indian Creek, now called the Indian Creek Greenway - 4 mins away.

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

Update as of 04/2026: While I do accept pets, moving forward we can only house hypoallergenic dogs. Due to allergies, extreme shedding and cats destroying the furniture, we have decided to scale back on the dogs we allow.
