I'm less than a one hour drive from Cork, Kilkenny, Dungarvan and Waterford and 40 minutes from Limerick so central. The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

This old farmyard has undergone a beautiful restoration. The open space & scenery all around here is stunning, with the Devils Bit mountain as a backdrop. It is a really peaceful spot. From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

It provides a wonderful base for exploring the heart of the country while also allowing further journeys to some iconic tourist sites.
