There is plenty to do and see in the area. It is a peaceful and private place with absolutely everything you need to hand. The views and the scenery are stunning. The cabin is completely self contained set in its own garden. There are great walks and drives nearby. Or just spend time, sitting on the deck gazing at the magical view.

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

For culinary lovers check out quirky cafes like Budds (Ballydehob ) or 2 * Michelin Custom House (Baltimore). There are many beautiful beaches with boat trips and sailing/surfing/kayaking available

We are located near beaches (2 mins away), lots of peninsula walks, nice pubs and restaurants (10 mins drive), lots of sight-seeing, sailing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, farming and a taste of country life on a dairy farm.

Ballyrisode beach is a 5 minutes drive away along with numberous walking trials in the area one of which is located at the foot of the property. Relax and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tide overlooking Croagh Bay located just inside the iconic Fastnet Lighthouse. Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

A ladder leads the loft with 2 beds. It is a very quiet place surrounded y nature. Our other guesthouse is about 100 metres further down . Our own farmhouse is about 500 metres away. It is ideal for someone looking for a very quiet place to relax and immerse themselves in nature.
