This riverside home was the perfect getaway spot—peaceful, beautifully located, and incredibly relaxing. Waking up to the sound of birds and watching the river flow from the porch was pure magic. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was also very kind and responsive. My 2 colleagues and I stayed here during a conference at U Conn and it was absolutely perfect. The house is steps from the lake with beautiful views. Great porch, 2 fire pits (one is part of the porch table itself!), and fun water bikes. Great swimming and relaxing all around. The house itself is comfortable and super clean. Last but not least , the host Jena was truly above and beyond helpful, responsive, and accommodating. We had an awesome time - it felt like a true retreat :)

Stayed here for a weekend with my family and the place was perfect. Very clean and modern. 15 minute ride to Mohegan sun, 30 minute ride to Foxwoods. Peter answered within 5 minutes the few times I had texted him. Would definitly stay here again!

Very relaxing and peaceful stay at the Zenhouse for me, my husband and 3 month old boy. The guest house was relatively spacious and had all the amenities needed to relax with tea/coffee and grill food. Some of the fixtures in the guest house are a bit dated (e.g. bathroom, heater, etc.) but are all perfectly functional. The property is expansive with beautiful trees, streams and walkways throughout. Olga greeted us with a wonderful welcome including of the history of the property. We also enjoyed spotting the geese, chipmunks and other animals that roam around the grounds. We would come again when during warmer weather to enjoy the pool next time.

Mariza's house was not only beautiful on the inside, but on the outside aswell. We felt very welcome from the moment we stepped foot into her home. We had lots of room for everyone, which was nice. I would highly recommend it!

Came for a one week spring break stay with my 7 year old, husband, sister and dog. The home is well-appointed and thoughtfully furnished and decorated to be cozy and comfortable. The house is right on the lake and offers beautiful views from everywhere you are. Weather was up and down (as April can be!) but there was plenty to do not far away, and a selection of games to keep us busy, in addition to those we brought. Thoughtful touches throughout the house! Morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake with birdsong and ducks swimming by was a particularly peaceful highlight. Look forward to returning during warmer months for evening wine outside and more bites when we fish! A great stay - book this place!

We LOVED our stay at this wonderful home— extraordinary lake views and access from their spacious home, coffees/teas/snacks, everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals, multiple indoor and outdoor seating areas, kind hosts, and a gorgeous setting. We dined on one of the exterior decks and then played backgammon on the one below, while both had stunning lake views. It was the serenity and beauty we badly needed, but Starbucks, grocery stores, the wine shops and other amenities were less than 3 miles away. We’re already planning our next visit

I appreciated all the snacks and drinks that were included. Bathroom was stocked with everything you'd need and there was detergent for the washer too

The location suited our needs perfectly. It was close to our Jehovah’s Witness facility in Patterson NY. We had a morning tour which made it very convenient, only 20 minutes away. We not only enjoyed the peaceful quietness, we were also able to do a little fishing at the boat docks right on the property of Candlewood Isle and caught a few fish.☺️

Jake was a perfect host, he was very responsive and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. The cottage is cozy for a getaway in a beautiful location. It is well equipped and comfortable, I highly recommend staying here, it is lovely. We will be back!

Was in the area to visit family and this was a perfect location for me. Had just what my family needed to have a great weekend

The cottage was just as described and what you see in the photos is what you get. Hector was very responsive when I reached out to him. It was very comfortable and clean. Looking forward to being back and shared the listing with friends and family.

I highly recommend this property. It was perfect for our Christmas visit with family. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay in East Hampton. We will be back!

This place is so beautiful, peaceful, cozy, and well stocked! They have everything you could imagine to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, and beyond! The house also has the best indoor and outdoor lighting (solar and otherwise) I have ever seen! The lake is quiet, clear, clean, and a perfect getaway.

My friends and I had a great overnight stay at Joe's place. Cozy living room with a nice record player and comfy couches, spacious bathrooms, and comfortable beds.

We started at David’s place for a bachelorette party and had an amazing time! The view over the lake is unreal and there was plenty of space for eight of us total. The driveway is a little bit tricky to get in and out of, but we had no issues at all – just flagging for those with larger cars and/or coming in bad weather.

This house is amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer than a weekend. Everything was very clean and had everything we needed. Definitely going to try and stay here in the future!

We had a lovely stay. JP was extremely responsive and accommodating. The house was exactly as stated in the listing. We would stay there again if in the area.

We stayed here for a tattoo convention at Mohegan Sun for work and I can’t say enough good things about this house! It easily accommodated our group and was very spacious and clean. Mitchell was responsive and super easy to talk to when making arrangements! Would definitely come back to this house for future conventions or to visit the area.

Beautiful, clean place with lots of items in kitchen/bathroom that won’t let you miss your own home. Also super supportive & responsive host is Armanda. Looking forward to visit again
