Combe Martin: aluguel por temporada pet friendly

Combe Martin was much quieter than we remember from our last visit but was so easy to get to Ilfracombe and other places we wanted to visit. Found great places to eat and drink close by in the village, amazing walks and views and locals were all so friendly. The house was just perfect with everything we needed. It was excellent to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for my Mum, who is a bit unsteady on her feet. The log burner was easy to use and incredibly efficient, a lovely way to end the day. The kitchen was really well designed. Nic and Rick were really responsive and the check in and out was straightforward and very relaxed. Thanks Nic and Rick for a perfect weekend stay!

We had a fabulous stay here with family ahead of a wedding at Gileston Manor. It was a perfect location, and we had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay. The accommodation gave us all space and time to get ready for a wedding, including a lovely large living area. Ginetta was extremely helpful and responded so quickly to any questions we had. A really lovely week, marred only by a couple of days' rain (which of course was nobody's fault!). Taryn was extremely efficient and responsive. Barbara was charming and helpful, and explained so much about the lambing process. The house was roomy - great for a family party of nine. My granddaughter loved visiting the lambs, and even holding a newly-born lamb in her arms. Wonderful rolling hill farmland to walk the dog. Visits to the sea, Exeter and Totnes were great too. Thank you, Barbara and Taryn.

This place is a gem! Fabulous host and amazing apartment. Struggled to manoeuvre our car( Jeep) into the secure space but we managed to and this is no reflection whatsoever on the place. So close to the beach, the town , coastal walks. Everything you could ask for. Even a little sun- trap decking area outside. Comfy bed, powerful shower with hot water. Didn’t mind even washing up as a dishwasher isn’t provided,or necessary.

A great stay at Gary’s place. Good location, plenty of nearby shops and pubs within a short drive and a farm shop a stones throw a way. Place was clean and well equipped. The outside space is nice

Great few days in one of the lodges. The place was warm and cosy (even in January!). Lovely grounds and opportunity for walks. Freedom for dogs to run around. Pool was a highlight, heated appropriately so one could enjoy the swim. Hot tub and sauna were also great. Thank you!

We only stayed at the lodge for one night but it was great! We were lucky enough to have lovely weather which meant we could have dinner on the sunny balcony, with great views. It was extremely clean throughout and well equipped. We would love to come back again!

We had the most lovely stay here. The place was beautiful, secluded and peaceful. The sound of the river was great and the walks nearby were stunning. Beds were comfy, kitchen was fairly well equipped, showers were great and everything was clean. Melanie and Ian were both very communicative and very helpful with directions to the property, any questions we had were promptly answered and were very helpful with anything we needed. The slope down to the property is fairly steep. The hot tub was perfect and the heated pool was great even in the rain! Would recommend a stay here anytime

We’ve just returned from an amazing bank holiday weekend at Louise’s property, celebrating a joint 40th birthday with friends, and it couldn’t have been better. The weather was fantastic, so we spent most of our time enjoying the sunny garden and the pool, which was a huge hit with both kids and big kids! The pool was much larger than we expected and it was always the perfect temperature. We made great use of the BBQ and fire pit area, which was especially lovely at sunset. The house itself is beautiful. All the bedrooms are a great size and with stunning views, and the kitchen that had everything we needed and more. One afternoon, we walked across a couple of fields to The Blacksmith Arms pub, about 15 minutes away, and had a lush lunch. During the days, we watched birds in the garden, and at dusk, we were treated to the sight of bats swooping overhead. The kids also had a great time visiting the chickens. Thank you so much, Louise. We had a great time :-)

We really enjoyed our holiday in Wren lodge. It was so peaceful, cosy, clean, well equipped and was our happy place for a week. We loved the swimming pool and would have used it loads more if the weather had been warmer. During our week we had a lovely 2 mile walk to the local village pub where we had a tasty meal. We drove out to Bude, which we loved for cute shops and crabbing on the harbour wall. We found Sandymouth beach for a fun beach day, with an amazing beach cafe. We would definitely recommend the lodge for a relaxing homely place to stay with great helpful hosts. Definitely value gor money. Well equipped kitchen and all lovely and clean. The large garden space around the lodge was sich a nice view and seeing cows in the field from the kitchen window was just delightful! A very happy holiday. Thank you to Valerie and Tony!

We loved staying here with our boys over the steam gala. Hearing the steam train was a highlight and Jan sent some brilliant instructions for good viewing points (and we all loved the walks!). We were particularly lucky to enjoy their beautiful pool and garden - what a treat for a May bank holiday! Thank you for a wonderful time.

Everything was as described. Neil was a great host and left a very generous welcome pack and a really useful folder of information. The house is in a good location, is spacious, and has amazing showers (although the high water pressure was less useful when our son drowned the kitchen as soon as we arrived!). The kitchen, although not that modern, is large and very well equipped. We didn't use the dining area much except for meals: it was a bit chilly (bring slippers for the tiled floor), there were no blinds on the windows, and WiFi didn't reach well into that room. In fact, it's worth bringing a collapsible table if you plan to use a laptop much in the house. The beds were all really comfortable but the curtains in most bedrooms are very light and thin so blackout blinds are advised. We stayed outside the swimming pool opening season but used the pool at Ruda down the road which was really fun. The pool table was great for an extra activity on rainy days. Overall, we'd recommend.

Wow! Thanks Andrea for a beautiful stay in your cottages. Andrea was super friendly and so accommodating. Sunny nook had stunning views and a balcony to enjoy it, very peaceful and everything in close proximity. Cottage was super clean, had everything it needed and even got an introduction to FiFi the horse. Thank you for an amazing stay and I can’t wait to come back for another stay soon!

Beautiful, spacious, unique place, with lovely decor and finished with elegance. Well thought out accommodation with everything you need. The place suited us perfectly for 9 guests. Exactly as described on the site. We struggled a bit with the amount of people to number of bathrooms, (1 bathroom, plus 1 en-suite) but not really an issue, just a bit of planning. The host, Rose was great, really responsive, approachable and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place and love to book again.

A private little haven, but close to town to not be a hassle to go to the shops.Dog friendly. Kitchen was well equipped. Will def go back.

We had a lovely few days. The place was clean, tidy and relaxing. Debbie went out of her way to make it a lovely place to stay and to make sure our baby was comfortable too. I would recommend this place and we would use again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the Honeysuckle cottage.Helen and Jonathan went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It was a lovely cottage with all the amenities you could ask for . Walking in to find homemade scones and jam, fresh eggs and freshly baked bread was a treat!! The cottage is in a great location and we found it quiet and peaceful.The hot tub was private and clean. Having a private garden made it easy to manage our dog as well. We have stayed in multiple air bnbs before, this one was special and we will definitely come back! The caravan has absolutely stunning views over a lawn, fields and cliffs to the sea, and is very comfortable. The coastal path and the Boscastle Farm shop and cafe are minutes away by foot. The large lawn is a great asset which our dog greatly appreciated. the property had a good sized terrace which was ideal to watch the sunset and have a drink in the evenings.

We booked a really last minute holiday and arrived within a few hours of booking. The place was absolutely beautiful and so many comfortable places to chill around the house. The location was perfect as well, just what we were after! One of the best holidays we've had as a family!

Really peaceful, and hot tub fantastic. Barbecue and fire pit plus converted sheep trailer for drying clothes and boots etc all really practicle, and well thought out by the host. Highly recommended.
