Homebush Cottage is part of the 130 year old former Homebush School, located on the Southern Scenic Route, 8kms from Darfield township and close to popular Skifields, Lakes and amazing tourist destinations, thus making us the perfect stopover. The cottage is set on 3 acres including beautiful rambling gardens and tennis court. The Cottage is super comfy and suitable for a couple. We provide a self catering breakfast including free range eggs from Brown Shavers so no need to worry about food !!

Te Ara Cottage Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has gas burners, bbq set outside on the deck and microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster inside. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey

This accommodation unit is situated on a working farm in the quietness of the countryside with all the comforts of home. Common room with queen bed, includes full kitchen, microwave, oven, fridge, fireplace, bathroom, television, and DVD player, Sky TV. A private garden is also part of the quiet countryside accommodation.

Fully equipped the studio features its own shower room and kitchenette (ground floor) for your breakfast needs. Ample parking is available on the property in front.

My place is close to great views of the Southern Alps and away from the hustle and bustle of city living. It is a peaceful country escape. 10 mins to Darfield & 20 mins to Rolleston, and 30 mins to Christchurch or Christchurch airport. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). We are only a few minutes away from the hot air ballooning and an hour from the ski fields. The nearest golf course is only 5 mins down the road with several others available in the Selwyn district.

The cabin is on a lifestyle block, with extensive gardens, orchard, herb garden, sheep, chickens, and hydroponic system.
