This was by far the best place I have stayed at. This couple thought of every possible item that one would need for a wonderful experience. There was ice in freezer , robes , towels , even birthday candles. Everything labeled and explained easily. The wine was a great touch. Highly recommend and already told friends about this little gem. Loved everything.

Kimiko was an amazing host. I strong recommend their cottage for any one who would like to spend a good time with family and friends. Thanks Kimiko and Scott.

Spent another great weekend this Easter at Kayla’s . Super weather to go for long walks on the county road . This is the perfect private hideaway with an amazing view . Super clean and comfortable. The only downside was having to leave !

We had a girls trip and the space was great! Had everything we needed, extremely clean, and wonderful outdoor space. We appreciated the small details the host had included in this space. We will be back!

We had an incredible stay for 2 nights. The cottage was spotless on our arrival and had loads of amenities. The hot tub and fire pit was a huge hit and the area is very quiet and peaceful for a perfect little getaway. Highly recommend Dean’s place.

This is our first trip to the east coast and staying in Joseph’s place has put a lot of high expectations on the rest of the trip. I couldn’t complain about washing dishes with the view from the kitchen. Bright and cheerful. Sit in the rocking chair watching the fisherman check their traps could entertain me for days. Very clean home , reminds me of staying with family. Hot tub was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed and would love to stay again if we come back. Thanks so much for sharing !

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at lake house cottage. The cottage was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host ( Benjamin) , was incredibly friendly and helpful, responding promptly to all our questions. We especially appreciated the welcome note, thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation." 5

Most of what I'm saying is echoing what other Guests have said - it's all still true for 2024: Morry is great to work with, cottage is clean and well-equipped,  the views here are wonderful, beds are comfy and the layout worked well for us with the two main floor bedrooms on opposite sides.  The kitchen is a good size and the two full bathrooms are like new. There's a great hike trailhead a stone's throw away and, if you haven't already, you will fall in love with Prospect, NS!!

We had a wonderful stay. We arrived later in the day (7 or 8 pm), but were able to get settled in easily. We really enjoyed the propane fire pit that was provided and had a great time watching the sunset by the fire pit. Even though there are nearby cabins once you’re in it feels like your own private paradise (also nothing gets in the way of the back porch view). If we are in the area or get the opportunity to we would love to stay here again and would recommend it to friends/family!

I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)

Shobac farm is very peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Lots of great amenities as well - our son loved the indoor pool and trampoline. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Conveniently located close to many beaches and Lunenburg is only 25 min away. Would love to return again!

Everything was wonderful at this cottage and guest house that accommodates 8 people! Despite the rain on the weekend we selected, we had a beautiful family getaway. Alex and family have a beautiful spot on a quiet lake. The cottage is open and fresh! They provide a fire pit with wood, games, toys, canoes, etc. but all we really needed was the space to gather and the gorgeous lake view and access. Alex provided excellent instructions and was very friendly and accommodating. We are truly grateful to have been able to enjoy such a lovely place!

Absolutely amazing place and attentive hosts! Since booking my stay the hosts were proactive in letting me know things to do and also quick to respond to all my questions. This was the only Airbnb I have stayed at that had a freshly baked pie waiting for me in the kitchen when I arrived and breakfast was included for my stay. The grand piano in the cottage was freshly tuned and sounded incredible, the hosts even invited me out for a few beers and a musical jam sesh! The surroundings are gorgeous and the amenities were freely available such as kayak, life jacket, fishing gear and all the wood I could want to light a fire. The bathroom was clean and had all necessary toiletries. Thank you Peter and Hendrix for a great stay!

Had an amazing weekend! The house was very cozy and fit all of us fine with plenty of places to sleep. Great location and so much to do between kayaking, playing pool, board games walking the trail and more! Would definitely return.

Jill was a flexible and generous host! The Airbnb is beautiful with gorgeous views and lots of space for people to stay. She had a bottle of local wine for us to try and gave us a flexible check out time. The perfect place to stay!

L’arrivée fut très appréciée avec le panier remplis de belles petites surprises. Quel belle attention. Vraiment une très belle vue , l’emplacement est magnifique. La maison très belle et très propre. Nous avons passé de très bons moments en famille. La seule recommandation serait d’arranger la cuve de la toilette car il faut toujours vérifier la chaîne sinon elle la cuve ne se remplit pas .

Justin was an amazing host for the extended length of time we stayed at his place. Would highly recommend!

The cottage in the pines was just as described. Very peaceful and private. Loved to be able to reconnect with the outdoors and recharge.

We had a great stay. We loved the location. People were extremely friendly. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Our host/hostess were extremely helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely go back.

We stayed here over New Year’s and it was the perfect getaway. Super comfortable, cozy woodstove, and amazing views. We’d definitely return!

We extended a work trip by a few days at Matthew's place to hike around Peggy's Cove and the park in Prospect Bay. Matthew's cottage is ideal to rest in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed being close to the water. Matthew provided us with great recommendations on where to get sea food and landed us with the needed equipment to cook lobsters. We will come back to use the kayak and paddle board when the weather will be more sunny ! thank you.
