1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

House rules: Quiet time and 10pm end time on hot tub. A detached luxury two bedroom, two bathroom, contemporary barn conversion with a fabulous 44' reception room, with stunning views, chefs kitchen, hot tub and located in an AONB, 1 minutes drive to a fantastic pub. Fabulous countryside walks, fishing, 7 miles to Wells and 12 miles to Bath and Bristol. The barn is not suitable for young children. Located side on, on a small "B" road, the road has become much busier recently. Sorry no pets.

A little haven away from the hustle & bustle of daily life but also a short drive away from Bath, Bristol & many other beautiful spots. Leave stress behind and relax in the grounds of a grade II listed Manor House in the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside. You can step out of the front door into the fields. There are miles of footpaths to explore. You can enjoy Bath, a Unesco World Heritage city, its buildings, history and restaurants, visit the hustle and bustle of Bristol, explore the countless picture postcard villages, pubs and cafes or visit a range of National Trust properties. This lovely annex has its own private entrance with a small fenced garden and patio area with table and chairs. There is one ensuite kingsize bedroom (or 2 singles) and a open plan kitchen with sofa bed (more suitable for children as no separate bathroom) There is parking outside. Our beautiful hamlet is very quiet with great walks from the door. We do run a working farm so you may occasionally hear that in action. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

A peaceful cottage, light, airy and in the country with plenty of secure parking. Discover Bath, the Cotswolds, Avebury stone circle, Lacock, Longleat, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Stourhead, Wells and Cheddar. There is charging for Electric cars about 1 mile away at Flourish Farm Shop Farleigh Road Norton St Philip (Just off the A36). My husband is a qualified instructor and offers clay pigeon shooting. 2 night minimum requirement at weekends between 1st May and 2nd January each year.
