It was a very good stay. The place was very cute. I specially requested for a bonfire and barbecue for my birthday and they made all the provisions for it. Even showed a sweet gesture of giving me a pastry for my birthday. The food was also pretty nice and special care was taken to whatever we needed. Loved the stay.

The homestay was an amazing experience, host mom and dad both were too welcoming and all the arrangements made in the house made us feel like home. The place was so mesmerizing that we wanted to extend our stay as place is too peaceful and scenerie. Host brother Abhishek helped us in paragliding in Bir and guided us to all the best place to explore nearby. Thanks for such a nice time Abhinav and Abhishek

Atithi isn’t just a stay, it’s an experience wrapped in warmth, love, & genuine hospitality. The peace this place offers is unmatched, and the home-cooked meals from their kitchen? Pure soul food. I keep coming back, not just for the comfort but for the emotional connect this place builds. It’s my go-to sanctuary in Bir. If you're looking for authenticity, serenity, & kindness, this is the #1 place to stay. The house is suited for a comfortable long term stay. It's inside a society and highly accessible and safe for the elderly and children. It is very well furnished and equipped. You can buy supplies from the shops next to the society gate and cook yourself or hire a cook from within the society. You can also order food in from Kullu. Praveen was highly responsive and understanding. He communicated his expectations upfront and happily accommodated requests when reasonable. I would love to stay here again for a long time period.

We had a great stay; Sarthak is a wonderful host and he and his family made us feel right at home The location is very peaceful and ideal for anyone looking for a retreat. Sarthak and his family were there to help us throughout and I’ll recommend it to everyone!

We loved our stay in Karuna retreat for 5 days. The place has warm and cozy vibes. The kids loved the media room in the attic. It was a different experience for them. Since we were traveling by our own vehicle, we enjoyed the best of both worlds, the calm and peaceful neighbourhood of Rakkad and the hustle and bustle of Mcleod ganj. Traveling to the Main Square of Mcleodganj took 30 mins. Karuna Retreat is very close to Norbulingka Institute which was a great place to sit and just enjoy some peaceful moments. Star and constellations gazing was our favourite thing to do on the terrace of our beautiful homestay. There were nice home run cafes nearby. A grocery shop was just round the corner. We loved the location. Our host Tenzin was an easy and proactive person to talk to, though we never needed anything as everything was just fine. We loved the collection of books there too. We really hope to come back soon and stay for a longer period of time.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, everything was seamless and exceeded our expectations. The apartment was even better than the photos – spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, toiletries, and a welcome guide with local recommendations. The location was perfect! It was in a quiet neighborhood but still close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. We were able to explore the city easily, and [Host's Name] provided great tips for hidden gems in the area. Communication with Lalit was excellent. They were quick to respond to any questions

Lovely stay! Both hosts, Tenzin n Hemant are wonderful. The place is beautiful and the house is located in a very peaceful area. The home is well organized and super clean. I highly recommend this place.
