Our family enjoyed our stay here! The house and property have lots of items, antiques, and activities from the past to the present all around the property. You can freely roam the field looking at junk cars, RV's, etc.... The house has various memorabilia, movies, games, etc... available during your stay. When we arrived, our hosts had provided eggs, milk, and cereal. We were able to meet them, and they both are very kind, friendly folks!

Magical land with the most kindred spirits....all love and light!

The house was large and easily accommodated 6 adults. It had everything we needed for our stay as well as a homey, country, inviting feel. 15 minutes to Boyne Mountain and many area attractions. We were thankful for the this perfect time together with family.

This place went above and beyond what we expected! Beautiful area with big fields of grass which was great for our three dogs! We had a BLAST staying here. Felt very peaceful, relaxing, and stress free. The site was huge, they provided wood on-site (must purchase) and provided some cooking supplies which saved us so much time and money! Will definitely come back again and recommend others to stay here!

A beautiful property. As described, so be aware there is no electricity or water in the cabin. Waking up here is about as peaceful and serene as it gets. Close to downtown Charlevoix. The bathroom/kitchen facility was nice and will take care of your needs.

Amazing Stay at Shook Farms! Our stay at Shook Farms was nothing short of magical! The farmhouse was beautiful, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The setting was absolutely stunning, especially with the most snow the area has seen in 10 years! We loved sipping on their incredible wine and cider while taking in the breathtaking winter views. Even our senior dog had a fantastic time exploring the peaceful surroundings. We can’t wait to return during blossom season to experience the farm in a whole new way. Highly recommend this hidden gem for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Me and my boyfriend went on a trip with my family to traverse city, and we decided to stay an extra two nights and stumbled upon rocky top’s yurt! We were not disappointed, the land was beautiful and very calming. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the fire with the wood they provided. The stars and sound of nature was just the alone time we needed, can’t wait to come back!

We couldn’t have asked for better weather which made our time there so much fun!! Lauren was so nice and informative when we arrived, we felt at home. The views were amazing. Coffee and bagels brought to us in the morning! It was so perfect!!! It makes you feel like you’re in a whole different world. We will definitely be back!

The farmhouse was beautiful with walkable trails on the land. There were large fields of lavender. The barn was a great setting for my family pictures. All of the beds in the farm house were a very comfortable. This space was very conducive to a beautiful family gathering. Thank you Tyler and Britt.

Karen’s place was beautiful!! We felt so relaxed and at home. The bedroom is incredibly comfy and the little outdoor kitchen has all the basics you need! Karen is a peach and couldn’t be sweeter!! Highly recommend! Thank you Karen😊

My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. Shawn was incredibly accommodating and understanding with our arrival. The place truly is a unique experience to stay in. We enjoyed it very much. The scenery was gorgeous and the location was amazing as well.

Comfy, cozy Christmas! Cheri’s farmhouse was the perfect spot for us to spend a quiet, relaxing Christmas. This was actually our 2nd stay at the house and we’d definitely return again. The home is inviting, comfortable and lovely, and Cheri is a responsive and generous host. Close to lake towns and ski resorts.

We had a great time staying at Elissa and John’ place where stunning fall colors are just inches away. Elissa was very responsive to our questions. It is located in a very quiet and secluded area surrounded by woods. We found it perfect for a peaceful getaway from the city.

This was one of our favorite Airbnbs ever! The farmhouse was charming, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The unit is downstairs, but no one lives upstairs, so we had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed amenities like the washer/dryer, gas grill, and Keurig coffee maker (with coffee provided). Although the house is over a century old, it smells fresh and dry. The country setting is beautiful, so very quiet and peaceful. We gazed at stars at night and sat under the trees in the yard reading during the day. The house is perfectly located for an easy day trip to Mackinac Island (which we initially planned to do, but we liked the farmhouse so much that we just hung out there instead). As wonderful as the property was, the host, Robin, was even better. She not only left fresh, homemade cookies and a handwritten note to welcome us, but also could not have been kinder to us and especially to our daughter. We left feeling thoroughly refreshed and relaxed, and we hope to return.

This place is absolutely stunning. It was clean, spacious, and uniquely decorated. We especially loved the “look out” room where we played a lot of euchre with our friends. We also loved cooking in the kitchen. The host was proactive and called us before we went to ensure we were taken care of. The horses on the property brought all of us joy. This house is a perfect place to stay with friends or family for a trip up north, especially to go ski in the winter or grab a bite to eat in downtown Harbor Springs. We were very close to the hills and always left skiing excited to go back to the house. We felt at home, especially because of how clean it was. Would highly recommend!

Laurie's cottage was perfect for us! Was able to accommodate a couple different guests, 4 people getting ready for a wedding. Porch was perfect for several people with a small but nice view of the lake. We didn't use it but was great that it had beach access and a dock. Loved listening to the breeze through the trees, reminded me of being on Walloon years ago. Was very clean. Will definitely stay again!

**Great Stay at Michigan Cabin Retreat!** We had a fantastic time at this cozy, spacious cabin. The living room, with its large windows and fireplace, was perfect for relaxing. It’s just 25 minutes from Mackinac City, making it easy to visit the island. We especially enjoyed the outdoor BBQ and bonfire area, which made for great evenings under the stars. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the self-check-in was simple. Communication with the host was smooth. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!
