Victoria, Sidney, and the ocean are all within about 20 mins. Elk Lake is a 10 min. drive where you can enjoy the beach or walk around the beautiful 10 K path around the lake.

Cottage Retreat by the Bay

The cottage bay retreat is in the lower level of our character home. My adult daughter and I live upstairs. We are located across the street from sandy Cordova Bay beach which is what makes staying in Cordova Bay so special. There is abundant sea life with otters, seals, eagles, crabs and a wonderful sandbar to explore tidal pools at low tide. It’s a great place to kayak or paddle board. Bike trails to Victoria are 1 block away. Come back from the beach and relax in this rustic stylish space.

The kitchen will be stocked with the following food items (guests must prepare the food): - Two (2) organic eggs per guest - Two (2) pc whole wheat bread per guest - Juice/Tea/Coffee/Milk/Creamer - Jam & Peanut Butter - Oatmeal - Miscellaneous Pantry items (popcorn/soup/etc.) Walking distance to Sidney (1.5km to town/1 km to the oceanfront) and the Victoria International Airport (2.2km) NOTE: Persons with mobility concerns may have a difficult time getting in and out of the primary bed.

Brentwood Garden Suite

The Brentwood Garden — basement suite is located in a quiet neighbourhood at the back of the house with a beautiful garden and patio. A infant is welcome to sleep in a beautiful baby wicket basket with stand. Unfortunately, the suite is not wheelchair accessible. Suitable for 2 persons. The suite and upper - hosts floor share one heating and cooling system with a thermostat on main floor. Our guests are able to control a comfortable temperature in the suite by adjusting ceiling vents.

Nearby, you’ll find charming farms and restaurants. The closest bus stop is 2 km away. Your suite includes a fridge, microwave, Keurig, and kettle for basic meal prep. Charming 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite located 9.5km from BC Ferries and only 4.5km to Victoria airport (YYJ). We are close to downtown Sidney, a short 15 minute drive to Butchart Gardens and 35 minutes to downtown Victoria. There is a bus on the route, but we are in a rural area and the bus is sporadic. There are plenty of beaches and hiking trails near by as well as the local golf course. Suite is attached to the host home, yet completely private with a separate entrance.
