The location needs no talking up...the chalet is in close proximity to the Cardrona Ski Resort, Snow Farm & the iconic Cardrona Hotel is just 50 metres away. This luxuriously renovated board & batten chalet features open plan layout with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Double-glazing & log burner fire ensures the entire property is warm and cozy throughout the winter & accommodates up to six people.

The Lookout - boutique mountain hideaway

Foehn Cottage provides boutique accommodation in a tranquil location in Twizel. This delightful retreat features two bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 3 guests (one queen bed and one king single). The fully equipped kitchen includes a cooktop, microwave, fridge, and all the essentials for meal preparation. Additionally, the cottage offers a washing machine for your convenience. Double doors from the living area open onto a charming, sunny deck, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.

Only five minutes drive from central Wanaka, Mount Gold Chalet is a bespoke private and cosy retreat. The exquisite wooden open plan studio chalet nestles in native forest high above Lake Wanaka. Views of the lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The perfect place to rest and relax amidst 1.8 hectares of native forest and gardens. We had some issues with Vodafone broadband where guests didn’t have a strong signal sometimes, so we have upgraded to fast Starlink wifi 😄

There are 3 bedrooms - 2 upstairs (one queen with beautiful views down the Valley, and a twin room with 2 king singles), and a queen bedroom downstairs. Modern bathroom on each floor and open plan dining/living kitchen - equipped with all your needs for a comfortable stay. Enjoy breakfast with the rabbits on the patio, or bbq with the stars under the Milky Way.

There’s even a picture of Sir Edmund when he first returned from his historic climb of Mt Everest in 1953. Recently refurbished, with a new kitchen and bathroom, it is cute, comfortable and has stunning views from the front balcony, the living area and the master bedroom. Walk to the shops and restaurants in central Queenstown. There’s plenty of parking at the house.
