The Corner Haus

The “Corner House” was built in 1954 by my parents, LeRoy and Colleen Bohnert, who made it their home for 63 years. Their home was filled with love and laughter and was a magnet for the neighborhood kids to play. My parents loved to entertain family and friends. My mother always had homemade cookies for to serve the guests. My husband and I remodeled the house in 2018. The house has two bedrooms, one bath, a screened porch which is perfect for morning coffee or that evening glass of wine.

Star gazing and sitting on our beautiful pavillion while you grill is only one of the reasons why you should book with us. Enjoy the homemade cookies and treats left by the host, Judi, as a welcome gift with a cup of coffee in the mornings at the stone firepit. "So peacefull" is the feedback from past guests. Wander the park like property and hike to the very top of our own little mountain and see for miles. Roast marshmallows over the firepit on starry nights. Rest-Relax-Return!

Private cabin in the heart of the Hill Country. Built by our father in his early twenties, its known by long time guests as John's Cabin. We wanted to share this property and all its magic with anyone who genuinely appreciates the outdoors. This antique-filled home, less than a mile from Bandera's Main Street is close to the Medina River, Mansfield Park, shopping, country music, night-life & some of the most scenic roads in Texas. There is plenty of privacy (the owner leaves for the duration of your stay) and you will love it here. Cici loves to decorate-holidays, birthdays, anniversary-just let us know. Briarwoode Farm Getaway

A cozy, convenient and peaceful spot on a working farm. This is a small apartment above separate garage with private entrance. Perfectly situated 5 minutes to Comfort, 25 to Kerrville, 25 to Fredericksburg & 20 to Boerne: Great for taking advantage of all the dining, shopping and attractions in the hill country. Also an especially good location for bicyclists & motorcyclists. One small house-trained dog that remains leashed while outdoors is welcome.
