A gorgeous little cottage in beautiful countryside. Jo was extremely friendly and welcomed us brining extra games for the children which went down very well. Really lovely cottage with pretty garden, sadly we only stayed one night as it was a short visit but we would have liked to have stayed longer and been able to spend more time there

Great house in a good spot. David and Shruti ‘s communications were very prompt and they were very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house for a larger group - very spacious and cosy with good facilities and parking. Many thanks for the stay

Bridget’s cottage was absolutely tremendous! It felt homely, warm and welcoming! It was private and out of the way without being miles away from what you needed. We stayed with our 18 month old and dog who had a lovely time too. The stair gate on the bedroom was great as it gave our son freedom to wonder about upstairs whilst we got ready. There was also plenty of room for the travel cot too. Bridget was excellent at giving local recommendations and instructions for the cottage. We tried Rye in Frome which served excellent coffee! So thank you for that too. A perfect Christmassy getaway! Felt like the holiday! Thank you so much xx

The place was amazing. Quiet, comfortable, easy, had everything you needed and with an amazing view. We would love to go back. Mo was friendly and on hand if needed but it felt private. A lovely space in a lovely place.

La maison de Lyn est superbe, propre, joliment décorée, confortable et, somme toute, très accueillante. Il y a beaucoup de place et la maison est située pas loin du centre ville. Lyn est une hôte accueillante et attentionnée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner et sa gentillesse en général.

We loved our stay in this stunning home! Two fab pubs just outside which had been recommended to us by the host, along with lots of other helpful tips. Parking wasn't too much of an issue for us, but be warned the village was quite crowded with tourists, even at this time of year. Didn't bother us too much but we weren't really expecting it! We loved the house and really loved that there were some logs left so that we could have a cosy fire in the log burner. Stairs are a bit of a death trap (this was to our amusement) but host had warned us about those so we were aware of what we were getting ourselves into! People with limited mobility would need to take this into account when booking. Really appreciated we were able to bring a dog too, and there were some lovely walks around the area, umbrellas and wellies were at the property which was also really helpful. Overall a really beautiful unique property, ideal for a cosy winter stay!

Loved staying here. It is on a quiet street, close to a park and the river. The cottage is really well equipped and designed, with everything you need for a long weekend. There’s a wood burner and other heating if you need it - very cosy and secure!

The perfect base for a long weekend exploring Bruton, it's restaurants and the surrounding countryside. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made us feel immediately welcome and at home, and we loved relaxing in the cottage after days out. 100% recommend!!

We had a lovely stay at this flat, so close to the centre of town and lovely view of bath out of the windows in the lounge. Clean, nicely decorated and furnished & had all the amenities we needed. Really felt at home and had a great trip.

I had a wonderful stay at Ric's place. I know Clifton village well – it's one of my favourite places in the UK, and this apartment was perfectly situated for the village beautiful shops and cafes, just a stroll across a beautiful garden square. I came on a writing retreat and to see old friends, and it was fantastic to have a study room in addition to the bedroom. I loved the combination of a large, traditional cosy front room (with log burner) and stylish furniture, together with the bright modern kitchen (very French, my pal said) and clean white bedroom with beautiful art (throughout the apartment). There was a great garden view from the bedroom and study, with a lovely blossom tree, so all very peaceful. The bathroom was modern and squeaky clean and stocked with fantastic Malin & Goetz potions. All in all, a treat of a week! It was both productive and relaxing for me and I would definitely come back.

The property is up to 20 min walk from the rail station, 4 min walk to the nearest grocery store and lots of bars and restaurants, up to 10 min walk to the beach. Peaceful, quiet, and overall nice surroundings. The property itself is very spacious, large kitchen, two toilets and a shower. The living room is massive, with two large sofas, work desk and a spacious balcony overlooking the park, also a view of a church by the side of it. The bedroom is a large en-suite room with lots of storage and a vanity corner. I must highlight that i have not slept on a better mattress, ever. The property has a washing machine and washing powder. In the shower room I also had access to a variety of shower gels and shampoos. The kitchen comes with pretty much anything you may need, even if you decide to bake! The check-in was super smooth, I was greeted on the main road and shown inside. Absolutely superb 3 night solo stay and I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend! 10/10

This is such a fantastic place to stay. Richard goes above and beyond to ensure his guests feel welcome and are comfortable. The apartment was spotlessly clean and has everything needed for our visit. The location of the accommodation is perfect for access to the beach, local shops and the bus route to the surrounding areas.

First time in Bath, UK and Helen’s place was the perfect introduction to the city. Located across from the beautiful green park, just at the cusp of the beautiful city. Apartment was clean and warm. There was a book of very clear instructions that made the stay hassle free. Helen included local recommendations of places to visit and eat at. So convenient. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to visit bath! Great job Helen!

Lovely place to stay with amazing views and only a 10 min stroll into bath with coffee shops on the way. I like the bed and actually and a really good sleep which is not always the case. Lovely area outside the bedroom to sit in and read or just relax. Very nice host and would highly recommend.

Schönes Appartement. Hell und zeitlos eingerichtet, absolut geschmackvoll. Wir haben uns alle sofort Zuhause gefühlt. Wir haben die Küche kaum genutzt, sie war aber perfekt ausgestattet, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt (Waschmaschine vorhanden). Es gibt in der Wohnung Schlafmöglichkeiten für 4 Personen in zwei Schlafzimmern. 2 einzelne Betten, ein Doppelbett und obwohl wir nur zu Dritt dort gewohnt haben, wäre durchaus für eine weitere Person ausreichend Platz vorhanden gewesen. Trotz der zentralen Lage, sehr ruhig. Patrycja hat im Vorfeld den CheckInn gut erklärt und war immer erreichbar.

Each summer a U.K. FAMILY holiday is planned for three generations ..ages 5 up to well quite a lot! The choice this year was to go to Simons place.and what a find for everyone. A characterful house. Inside spacious spotless , kitchen brilliant ,, bedrooms roomy , bathroom ( particularly first floor) fabulous, living room so homely with Simons personal collection of books, his piano, homeliness beyond, and with cable Tv Incorporating Sports channels , and Netflix and Prime Video . Outside the decking in the rear garden a wonderful morning sun trap , the front garden full of charm with BBQ facilities and two squirrels nicknamed Bill and Bob..there every morning … The location very peaceful , parking at front and rear of property . Local shops , and the beach within easy 5-10 minutes walk and buses same time away into Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch . A wonderful seven days

I truly believe David’s home “calls you” when your soul needs peace as well as David’s intuitive advice. I have never stayed at a place where the host is nearby (never mind in the same property) and yet, at David’s house I felt extremely comfortable and safe from the start. The house, amazingly located at the feet of Tor’s grounds, is beautiful inside out. It has everything I needed for a pleasant stay, such as, comfortable beds and linen, as well as, a large family kitchen to cook. Yet, its energy, specially in the living room, and garden grounded and soothed my soul. David, the host, gave us the space and privacy needed when one’s on a break. However, he also was a wonderful listening ear and amazing source of advice. Overall, it was a truly amazing stay and I cannot wait to return soon again.

An absolutely unique and beautiful house, set amongst lovely grounds. The Christmas tree in the living room was such a nice touch as was the welcome basket full of goodies. We can thoroughly recommend exploring the woods and beach path behind the property. We loved sitting by the fire reading and hanging out in the cinema room in the evening. Thank you for such a quiet and peaceful stay.

An excellent weekend was had to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with family. The property had everything we needed and there were few issues. The weather was excellent and our grandchildren loved the hot tub, large gardens, pool table, badminton, table tennis which gave them many hours of enjoyment. There was plenty of opportunity for relaxing with the extensive book shelves and TVs in both properties. An ideal property for a multi generational gathering, very well equipped kitchen/bathrooms with copious crockery, glasses and cooking facilities as well as many towels. Highly recommended.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

Enjoyed a memorable stay in Goretti’s peaceful and spacious home. The house is fully equipped and was extremely clean. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and conservatory. Communication was seamless. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home. It was lovely to be greeted by the host with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge.
