Eileen and husband Hugh’s place is a delightful place to stay. The curving tree-line drive and renovated mill house situated on the weir provide an idyllic setting to relax and enjoy the countryside. The house is comfortable and well thought out with everything needed already in place or solved with a quick drive to O’Shea’s Centra Market in the village. Riverside Mill Farm is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the best of Ireland. A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts.

We had a lovely stay in this home from home cottage. Peaceful and secluded, this 3 bed detached property sits within a working dairy farm. With well kept gardens to enjoy. The cottage is clean and cosy. But with plenty of room for 6 people. Elaine is a fantastic host. Very friendly and accommodating. Excellent local knowledge that she’s happy to share. This property is great for families with young children and/or pets. Our dogs were made very welcome and there’s space for them to run around. Our 4 year old granddaughter was delighted to meet several young calves that appeared in the field. To top it all we met *Jonah Lomu whilst we were there. *Not the legendary, now deceased, Rugby union winger for New Zealand. This Jonah Lomu is a friendly, all-black working farm dog. But Legendary nonetheless. I recommend this property to all.

Fantastic place to stay. An oasis of charm and peace. The stove was lighting when we arrived and we stayed in for the evening. We cooked steaks on the oven top and had some lovely salads that we bought. Had a few visits from Charlie the very friendly dog and our own greyhound, Holly, was pretty enamoured with him. There was brown bread and scones for our breakfast as well as rashers which we loved. The cottage is very comfortable and the double bed affords a restful night's sleep. There was also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and the loveliest fluffy white towels that I have ever seen. We went into Shillelagh for lunch on Saturday to Moll's place - delicious lasagne followed by homemade apple tart and ice-cream. We went for a nice long walk too down towards the pub from the cottage. We didn't venture to the pub as we were too cosy! We'll definitely be back. It was good for the soul!

Our host Noeleen met us at the property, to show us around. It was a pleasure to meet her, what a lovely lady! We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and wish it could have been longer but alas it was booked up! We had great weather and felt extremely lucky!

Majella's place a renovated barn was tip top. Had a lovely stay and found herself Michael were very accomadating to any request and made us feel really welcome. Lovely accomadation couldn't fault it. Plenty to see and do in Kilkenny. Wish them both the best and highly recommend a stay. Will definitely be back in the future ❤️

Rose’s place was absolutely beautiful. Myself and my friends came here for a girls night away and it was perfect! The beds were so comfortable, the fire outside was so warm and homely, and the hot tub was the highlight of the night.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer traumhaft schönen, ruhigen Lage auf dem Land. Wir haben uns sofort wohl und gut aufgenommen gefühlt! Möbel und weiteres Inventar sind sehr gut, auch das Bett! Alles ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und liebevoll ins Detail eingerichtet. Breda und ihre Familie sind liebe und sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die alles für das Wohl ihrer Gäste tun. Super Kommunikation! Had a perfect few days at the Mill House. Adored the vintage vibes of the house and the many cozy nooks to sit and chat. The oven wouldn't work for us and Jack (Dan's brother) couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, bringing us delicious Blasta pizza that evening, checking each room to ensure the heating was still working, and coming again next morning with an electrician to investigate the issue. The house is in a great location with beautiful rural surroundings but only a short drive from shops, cafés takeaways and scenic walks. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future.
