We had a group 10 for a bachelor party. At first we were a little worried about the idea of Paula staying at the same residence since we had such a large group, and weren’t sure we’d be able to play music etc. not only was Paula great at giving us privacy she mentioned that she had hosted DJs in the past and was comfortable with noise, she was extremely accommodating and even cooked us breakfast both days. Truly an amazing stay.

Poppy's Place is lovely! We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean, bathrooms pristine, kitchen well appointed. The beds were great - very nice mattresses with comfy sheets and blankets. Plenty of towels and extra linens were available if needed. We were able to park in the garage, which is a real perk for a rental. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, very near a Dollar General for quick supplies. Dixie was super responsive and left excellent directions regarding check in and check out. We would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for our group of 6. We each had our own bedroom and had plenty of room to play board games or watch TV. We were a little confused pulling up on where to park. Very close to Fairfield which has everything you would need. We chose the location due to proximity to Ottumwa and Cantril. Would be a lovely spot in the summer to stay.

The place is fantastic. Even includes a kitchen and tv and heaters which I didn’t see in the pictures. I had a good time and they were nice and friendly. Basically all I needed and more. Very nice cat there too, I don’t know if it was theirs or not but I saw it in the patio.

We loved our stay at Hart house. We were surprised to arrive and see it really was right across the street from the temple. It was an amazing view, not to mention the view of the mississippi river down the hill. The home is appointed in antique and arts & craft period pieces. There was lots of room for our family of 6 too. It was beautiful and just fantastic. The weather got cold and very windy and we enjoyed staying indoors that evening and enjoying the beautiful home and view. This is not a comment on the house but Nauvoo in general for April. There is very little to eat in town. There is no grocery store in town and Keokuk 20+min away is the closest city with grocery stores. We decided we’d just eat out. Well, Casey’s gas station is the only place open for breakfast before 10am, and gratefully, their breakfast pizza and breakfast wraps are ok. For dinner, the nauvoo inn is open on the weekend but on a weekday night, the Red Front is all that’s open. Just a heads up!

Tammi's place in Moravia was a wonderful little getaway. we really enjoyed the cabin and the view of the pond! We booked last minute and Tammi was very quick and happy to help with anything we needed. Would go back again!

Perfect for us! Nice, peaceful and quiet. Would love to stay again some time. Our hosts made it so easy for us, thanks you Gina and Jay.

Communication with Joe and Linda was fantastic, from the time of reservation, till the time of checkout. The condo was very nice. Clean and set up with everything you would need. We highly recommend and would stay there again, next time we're in the area.

The Droptine Cottage was exactly what we were looking for and Tony was great to work with! Super easy to find and get inside, with all of the amenities we needed for a quick trip to rural Iowa.
