This Loft is behind Richmond's #1 firehouse, now the Firehouse BBQ & Blues, and the private walk-alley entrance led "club members" upstairs to a speakeasy during the prohibition era. The club has been converted into a very stylish loft apartment. Come stay in one of the best kept secrets! One note, there are 20 steps up and being an 1800's factory with exposed brick and beams, there could be dust and debris sometimes no matter how hard it's cleaned. The experience is worth it!

Artist's Retreat Guest House

The Artist's Retreat Guest House is a two-bedroom Craftsman bungalow in the Earlham College neighborhood that welcomes adults visiting our community of Richmond, Indiana. It features a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a library filled with art books, a garden, fine antiques, and works by regional and international artists. Sorry, but no children, pets, or smoking. We keep the house allergen-free and many of the art pieces are too fragile or heavy for the safety of children and animals.
