After being diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer couple of weeks ago, the stressful time of culling and selling all my possessions, the help of my sister and auntie to take me back to Adelaide to start treatment. We stayed the night before our flight with the cat who enjoyed exploring the house. We were all comfortable and happy with the location and accomodation. Thanks you so much Carl and your family 😃

Overall, it was a great experience — we really loved the place! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend it to others!

Great place to stay enjoyed our family holiday

Absolutely beautiful modern house that was very clean. We were very impressed with the little extras supplied, made the house feel like a home. We stayed with our children and grandchildren and were all more than comfortable. Highly recommend this piece of paradise.

We are delightful to be the first guest, the place was great. As a Airbnb host before I knew Christ has done all his best to prepare and make sure his place is comfortable. Everything looks tidy and clean and we are enjoying every second in the house. This is a peaceful suburb with nice neighbourhood, pretty close to restaurants and cafe within 15mins walking distance. Coles will be just 5 mins drive.

Not worth the price, I had 12 people stay over and they only gave us 1x bin. Not enough cleaning products, no snacks or cooking ingredients (oil, pepper, salt, cling wrap) like other places have provided for us. We were very hungry on arrival. They were very rude when charging me with a reimbursement. They said that they will tell other future Airbnb bookings of it which will make it difficult for me to book another one in future. They don’t understand that it’s hard cleaning up with 6 kids living in the house with only 1x small wheelie bin. Very unprofessional behaviour from them.

I stayed at this incredible property for nearly three months, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The place is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed with high-end finishes and a stylish Boho vibe throughout. Everything was top-notch, from the decor to the fully equipped facilities. The co-host and the owner were amazing—super responsive, kind, and always went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. They even offered me a great discounted rate for my extended stay, which I really appreciated. Any minor issues were sorted out immediately—whether it was a fix or a replacement, they handled it fast and professionally. Honestly, the place looks even better in real life than in the photos (which is saying something). I’m beyond happy with my stay and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quality, stylish, and well-managed place.

This is a great place to stay. The balcony looks out over the main street and across to the beach. What a great spot to stop and relax. Will stay here again for sure. Thank you.

A home away from home. An amazing place to stay. Judi and David made us feel truly at home and nothing was too much to ask. By the end of your stay they are friends rather than air bnb hosts. Everything you could ever need was in there. We would definitely visit here again.

Cathy Dennis and Bonnie were the most beautiful hosts and made our stay perfect. Our unit was so nicely appointed and clean with fruit supplied. It was quiet and peaceful set in the most beautiful gardens could have stayed there forever and enjoyed Cathy and Dennis’s company, would go back in a heartbeat. Close to amenities and recommend the bowling club for meals.

Krystal was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. Great location and amenities, being able to use the hotel pool. Loved that there were fans as well as aircon. Clean and everything you need supplied. The apartment was darker, as in less light, than other towns/cities we stay but, as my husband pointed out, it’s because of the extreme heat in summer, most accomodation in Port Douglas is like that. Would definitely stay again.

Apartment was well fitted out with lots of things to make the stay more comfortable, including tea and coffee and toiletries, even bath salts for the huge indoor tub. Location is nice and central to everything the busy main street has to offer. Krystal was very responsive and offered great suggestions for eating out whilst we were in town. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Pix was very easy to work with. The place was ready with the lights and air conditioning on when we arrived. Everything was clean and welcoming. The kitchen was easy to use even being outside, and the beautiful beach was just a stroll through the yard. There were plenty of towels, shampoo, and everything we needed. The sounds of the frogs at night was such a treat to hear. We had a perfect stay.

Beautiful place offering pure serenity. I’d stay again. Bed was very comfortable and well stocked with items you need for a long weekend. Saw Platapus in the lake and the indoor fire place offered nice warmth and tranquility. Amanda was a lovely and very responsive host.

Diana's property is situated in a quiet, peaceful and private location, yet only minutes away from Yungaburra, lakes, waterfalls and surrounding walking tracks. It is in an ideal position to explore the Atherton Tablelands. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property. Thank you, Diana for your local knowledge, and hospitality. Our stay was nice and relaxing , the fire pit while overlooking the mountains was peaceful. I would recommend the property to our friends.

Was such a nice little gem up in the hills. Short drive from Cairns but felt a million miles away.

Beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by bush land. It’s the perfect place for completely unwinding and relaxing. You can choose to hide out the whole time you’re there or take a short trip into Mareeba and surrounding activities. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from it all.

We had a fabulous stay at Jeanie’s, the location is a wonderful, peaceful spot. Jeanie was a perfect host, attentive, friendly but also gives you all the space you need to relax. She provided a great welcome pack of food and drink and allowed us to check in early which was a big help as we had an early flight. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and having access to the pool as well as a private spa was wonderful. We couldn’t recommend Jeanie’s highly enough, truly a fabulous Airbnb experience!

Beautifil space, after a day of hiking, the spa was a welcomed comfort. TV was great. Our absolute favourite was the green space windows, made us feel like we were in rainforest and not surburbia. Happily stay again.
