'Waterside Studio' is a well appointed apartment in an annexe to the main house, but with private access. It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Rhubarb Cottage was built in 1855 and is a quaint white cottage with a modern bathroom, well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms. It has views over Newers Wood and easy access to Fluke Hall beach. Situated in rural Pilling it is ideally located for access to the Lakes, Trough of Bowland, Lancaster and seaside resort of Blackpool. This is the perfect base for cycling or rambling along the coast or into the countryside along with exploring the historic surroundings.
