Janette was absolutely wonderful! She added so many touches to this beautiful home that made such a difference. There was plenty of coffee pods, tea bags, a litre of milk, a bottle of wine, boxes of tissues, laundry and kitchen items and a lovely welcome note on the table… just to mention a few things. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view was spectacular. The reverse cycle ironstone and gas fire were very welcome on some of the colder evenings. Thank you so much, Janette! Lovely spot in Seaford. Back of the building complex so very quiet and peaceful. No noise from other residents. Easy walk to the shops of Seaford, either along the beach or along the creek. We did have issues with access through the front door which Sid tried to help with. We ended up just using the key to the back door for coming and going. Great space for a couple, 2 couples or a small family. Maybe a carton of milk for guests would be a nice touch of welcome.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kalorama Cottage! The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect escape from the city. We especially loved relaxing on the deck and enjoying the views of the forest. Good size backyard for the kids to enjoy playing some footy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat in the Dandenongs!

Lovely house. Felt like home away from home. Very quiet and peaceful area and private. The bed was extremely comfy and the hot tub was the perfect addition to a quiet weekend away. Communication on check-in was great, very clear and easy to understand. Have already recommended to F&F.

Great location near the beach and walking distance to Mentone town centre.

Eclectic and retro. Went away with husband, teenaged kids, their friends and our dogs. The teenagers slept in the 2 downstairs bedrooms, had their own lounge, bathroom and kitchenette. My husband and I were upstairs with the full kitchen, dining, lounge, bathroom and laundry. Couldn’t have asked for a better arrangement! Dogs spent some time on the upstairs deck, and we also set up a run for them out the back near the fire pit. We could only have them out there supervised, as they certainly would have gotten tangled, but they had plenty of walks, swims and bike rides. They were living their best life! The kids explored, went kayaking and played a heap of cards & board games. We cooked 3 out of the 4 nights, shouting ourselves to dinner at the Tarwin pub on the final night. Don’t rate the food or bistro service there (could be because they were slammed before the public hol) but the trivia was fun! Wholesome fun. Michael’s photography throughout the house is also awesome!

We stayed at Claires apartment during Easter break, instruction to access the property was very clear. It was amazingly sweet that Claire and team have prepared milk, bottled water, Easter eggs and hot cross buns, very much appreciated! The kitchen and living room is spacious with all essentials supplied, one feedback as shared with Claire is to replace the kettle. The ensuite is spacious with balcony, though recommend the cleaning/maintenance of bedding supplies to be updated in future. Bathroom was tidy with enough supplies for two nights. The property overall is in a great location, very easy to access the surrounding for grocery, shopping and dine out.

Frank was great to communicate with and very accommodating, even with last-minute changes. Frank's home is wonderful, spacious and very clean. The Balcony is to die for, and I wrote a chapter for my next book on the swinging chair. The only slight disappointment was that the pool is actually a pond. You can dip in it, but it is not for swimming laps it is relatively small and full of fish. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life, endlessly quiet, beautiful sunrises from the comfort and warmth of your bed.

We had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly. The location was perfect—close to attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!
