Bruce County: hotéis

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy spot! The house has a unique atmosphere, and beautiful sunsets are just a 5-minute drive away. The bed was super comfortable, and with no mosquitoes (as long as you spray and light a fire), it made for a peaceful night. Sofia was filling in for the main hosts, Vicki and Mark, and she was incredibly welcoming. The communication was clear throughout my stay. Sofia even gifted me fresh eggs for breakfast, which was such a nice touch. There's a friendly husky that adds to the charm of the place. Everything you need for a great BBQ is available, and firewood is provided, making it super easy to light a fire. The place is clean, well-kept, and comes with a helpful welcome guide. The only thing I would suggest is adding more outdoor lighting. Other than that, it’s a 10/10 stay – highly recommend!

Mary’s place was clean and exactly what we were looking for during our stay in Tobermory. It is perfectly situated with everything a quick walk away, yet still managed to provide a sense of privacy and relaxation. Furthermore, Mary was great communicating with us and even gave us some food recommendations.

We stayed one night, and it was a good experience. The check in process was smooth and the room was tidy. They have a restaurant, which was very convenient!

Everyone was friendly. The food is good and the beer cold. We liked that they are dog friendly. We would be happy to stay again when we are up that way.

Extremely thankful to find this place! Everything was beautiful, and comfortable, and peaceful. The property is gorgeous and a very short walk to the quiet little town that had good food and cute shops. This was the best possible location for exploring a lot of the Bruce Peninsula, we had easy access to all of the other towns in the area and we were never very far from the next trail, waterfall, beach, or cave that needed to be explored. Doug and everyone involved in making this a great B&B experience we greatly appreciate you, you made our anniversary very comfortable and very special! The breakfasts were delicious, the room was wonderfully set up and decorated, the bed very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The patio and gardens were absolutely lovely and inviting but there was so much to see and do it was hard to sit for long. We definitely wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!

Wow what a place! Donata and Sander were perfect hosts – welcoming and attentive without being obtrusive. The views are spectacular and the decks down to the bay provide a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view and beautiful sunsets. The food was sublime – top restaurant standard. Not surprising given both hosts are chefs who clearly love serving the highest quality food. The décor throughout is tasteful and comfortable and reflects perfectly the beauty of the location. Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. It is perfect for a luxury relaxing break in a stunning location. We hope to return one day soon, and will be recommending to any of our friends travelling to Ontario. We came for Tobermory, we would return for SweetWater Bay.

Micha is a very friendly host, and her lovely dog, Teddy, adds to the welcoming atmosphere of her home. The house is spotless, surpassing even some hotel standards. The home-cooked breakfast was delicious. Additionally, the location is central to downtown, within walking distance of various local restaurants and shops. I will definitely return to Micha’s place for my next visit to Owen Sound. Thank you, Micha, for everything 😊
