The Shore Shack

Shore Shack is a newly construction timber frame cabin on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful views and direct oceanfront. A Sandy beach within walking distance (at the end of Sand Beach road). The town of Liverpool is a five minute drive away. Very private! Whitepoint, Carter's and Summerville beach all a short drive away. A four person hot tub was added in March 2022. Perched high on an ocean hillside, built on 30 ft tall steel legs, the cozy quarters above are akin to an old ship’s cabin. With 360 views at 30ft up you can chart the sun and stars across the sky, set your rhythm to the ebb & flow of the tide and scout the surf from above. Greet the evenings with a cozy woodstove, sunset with drinks on the deck, moonrise with a dip in the hottub & mornings with fresh espresso. Permit yourself to depart land for a while and come stand watch at The Tower.

Welcome to Board & Batten in beautiful Rose Bay, Nova Scotia. Sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean, this breathtaking property is home to four, individually rented, geodesic glamping domes and two premium cottages (coming soon). Each identical dome offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and the night sky, as well as everything you’ll need for a luxury stay (this isn’t camping, it's glamping!). The domes and cottages are set nicely apart to allow a feel of privacy.

All other weeks is a 3 night minimum stay.

Retreat to the Upper Deck above the Broad Cove Café and relax after a day of touring around or just hanging out at the local beach only minutes away by foot. The café is open 4 days a week and serves fresh ‘Out of the Oven’ baked goods from 10:00-3:30. Close to several area beaches and parks for surfing, swimming, kayaking, hiking, bird watching and more. The Upper Deck is cozy, full of OLD charm and character.
