We had a lovely stay at Jen’s house. It was spacious, very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, which made our Easter stay even more enjoyable. We made the mistake of arriving in the dark, which made it a bit harder to find the place than it would have been in daylight—but once we arrived, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic weekend at Abbie and Max's cosy house. The hosts live in the property when not renting it on Airbnb so the amenities and everything are great and it is very comfortable, it is "lived in" which didn't bother us in the slightest and it really felt like we were at home. The house is very close to a station with good links into the city centre. Communication with the hosts was excellent, they are very responsive and provided a lot of information before we arrived which was much appreciated. Added bonus of two lovely affectionate cats!

We really enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place. It was spacious, tidy and warm. The area is great for all you need and easy transport links into city and other places. Michelle was great to communicate with and quick to reply. Thanks for a lovely stay

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at ease. Andreas home is not only spotless and beautifully maintained, but it also has a warmth that felt like a home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the furnishings to the fresh white beds and great kitchen amenities. The garden was a highlight – that we enjoyed from morning to evening (the weather helped!) It’s clear the hosts put a lot of care into both the interior and the outdoor space, and it made such a difference in our stay. The location is great, it’s only a 10 minute uber in to Bristol centre (costing £12-14) This place was the perfect – quiet, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay. Ben was very responsive, and his home was ideally set up for young children. The location worked well for us visiting friends in the neighbourhood (plus cafes and the common on the doorstep), though we didn’t try going into central Bristol. We’d definitely stay again!

We enjoyed four nights in Bristol over New Year and loved the apartment. it was cosy, comfortable and showed an attention to detail. Rebecca had provided helpful information on local shops, pubs and restaurants, and we certainly enjoyed our ventures out into Clifton and Bristol. We would be very happy to return in future.

The flat is in an excellent position close to the heart of a stylish part of Bristol with parking just outside. It was also spacious for our family get-togethers over the Xmas period. The log fire was a plus! Liv & Jem are very welcoming & responsive to any needs, such as extra glasses etc. Much appreciated!

Perfect place for a peaceful retreat within easy reach of Clifton and the city centre. You feel as if you’re in the middle of a quiet village, with nothing but birdsong to hear, but you can stroll into Clifton village in less than 20 mins and a cab into the centre of Bristol is 15 mins. The apartment is spacious but cosy, and really well equipped - the kitchen has everything you need and it feels like a proper home. Bed was so comfy, we slept so well! Only thing to note is the bathroom is ensuite and the door doesn’t offer much toilet privacy (we’re married so we don’t mind!) Overall such a gorgeous place and very helpful and responsive host, We are already planning our next visit!

Amazing communication from the host. We appreciated the extra touches like milk and fresh flowers. Notable noise from the street, but fine in the bedroom. A very central location.

Lovely flat - cosy and spacious and well equipped. Great location for exploring Clifton. Plentiful shops and eateries. The nearby Lido is worth a visit as of course is Clifton Suspension Bridge and visitor centre. The parking space was a bonus but you’ll need to find parking if taking a second vehicle as street parking is restricted. Karen was a friendly and communicative host. Lovely few days. Thank you 😊

Simon was a great host, communication was friendly and easy. The flat is in a great location and the parking space is a real bonus. Simon was kind enough to call and let us know we could check in early if we had wanted to. The accommodation felt so spacious and still cosy and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to others for both a quick visit or a longer stay.

Many thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us so we could enjoy a wonderful long weekend. Upon arrival we received a welcome visit from James, who was very helpful and informative. The house was even better than we had expected and had everything we could have asked for. It comfortably fit 12 people. We stayed here with four children (ages 2 to 6) and it was great. Lovely living area at the top of the house and plenty of space for everyone. We were very lucky with the weather and could eat outside on the balcony for most meals. Lots to do on the Lower Mill Estate for families. We would come again.

I truly believe David’s home “calls you” when your soul needs peace as well as David’s intuitive advice. I have never stayed at a place where the host is nearby (never mind in the same property) and yet, at David’s house I felt extremely comfortable and safe from the start. The house, amazingly located at the feet of Tor’s grounds, is beautiful inside out. It has everything I needed for a pleasant stay, such as, comfortable beds and linen, as well as, a large family kitchen to cook. Yet, its energy, specially in the living room, and garden grounded and soothed my soul. David, the host, gave us the space and privacy needed when one’s on a break. However, he also was a wonderful listening ear and amazing source of advice. Overall, it was a truly amazing stay and I cannot wait to return soon again.

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

A perfect place for our family get together. The 2 year old was delighted with toys to play with. The 20 somethings and 30 somethings loved the pool table and the hot tub. The oldies liked the peaceful surroundings and the views. The dogs loved the garden. We all loved the beautiful house, comfortable accommodation and the warmth from the AGA in the kitchen. And a bit of mystery and a secret.....all I will say is Smugglers' Top

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.
