From the moment we arrived, this home swept us off our feet! This place is truly magical. Handcrafted from local sources (timber, coconuts, shells, stone), every detail reflects respect for the environment. The house is cozy, peaceful, & rustic, w/a funky edge. My favorite area was the patio, which opened up to the rainforest, teeming w/birds & flowers. I loved watching monkeys in the trees & listening to the waves. Next to the home is the owners' incredible restaurant, Arboloco, a local favorite. The restaurant has a chill jungle vibe (delicious Afro-Caribbean food) & is open Wed-Sat. Despite the nearby dining, privacy was never an issue. The path to our Airbnb was clearly separated, maintaining a secluded experience. The location is serene & is a 10-minute drive from Bocas Town. This Airbnb isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience… an artistic retreat. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect blend of nature, privacy, & local culture.

Wir haben uns bei Claudio gleich sehr wohl gefühlt, die Unterkunft liegt an einem besonders schönen Ort mit Blick auf die Berge mit Dschungel aber auch viel Landwirtschaft mit leckerem Gemüse. Der Nationalpark zum Wandern in den Nebelbergen ist nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Claudio ist ein toller Gastgeber, super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Klare Empfehlung.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Rita and her team assisted us from across CR to Panama and back to CR … from transportation, to private chef, boat excursions and activities! All the planning was spot-on! The house hosts welcomed us, the house and surrounding property were beautiful! Lots of extras for us to enjoy. Location had great ocean views and a quick walk to Star Beach, local restaurants and bars. The house hosts were more than accommodating and even made a fire on the beach every night! Phillipe est un hôte exceptionnel! Accueillant intéressant et bienveillant. Nous avons passé deux jours avec deux soirées exceptionnelles plein de partages et d’anecdotes. Concernant le logement Une chambre agréable avec toilettes douche et un ventilateur qui a la puissance d’un avion. Ça décoiffe ! Cependant, La construction permet de ventiler toute la nuit sans avoir à utiliser celui . Le coin cuisine partager est propre fonctionnel grand frigo ustensiles de cuisine 👌 La plage de El drago est à environs 30 minutes à pied 🦶 cependant pour les moins sportifs une navette s’arrêtera devant la porte toute les 30/45 min. Et en 5 minutes vous y êtes. Compter 2,50 dollars par personnes pour vous y rendre depuis colon en mini bus ils acceptent les valises 🧳. Merci encore Philippe! Le 2e étage était très chaud et long à refroidir le soir malgré l'air climatisé. C'était assez humide aussi. Il faut savoir qu il y a un espace entre le mur et le plafond, ce qui laisse passer humidité, chaleur et insectes. J'aurais aussi aimé qu'il y ait un garde près de l'escalier pour nous éviter d'y tomber. Les lits sont confortables. Le futon très ferme, mais adequat pour un enfant. J'aurais aimé avoir quelques oreillers de plus. La terrasse est confortable avec son hamac. La table extérieure pourrait être modifiée en retirant les planches qui empêchent nos genoux de s'approcher. Le frigo était spacieux et très froid. Le four au gaz fonctionnait très bien. Le four grille-pain etait fontionnel mais plutôt long pour griller le pain. La salle de bain etait adéquate. Il y avait amplement de serviettes pour notre séjour. L'hôte Daniele a toujours répondu très rapidement à nos demandes. Un problème avec l'eau chaude a été réglé très rapidement malgré que nous étions un dimanche.

El alojamiento es una auténtica preciosidad y los anfitriones son ambos encantadores. Está en mitad de una zona selvática maravillosa. Algunas de sus habitaciones las dedican a alojar a personas que trabajan en un proyecto de conservación de los fondos marinos y con ellos compartes las zonas comunes. RECOMENDABLE 100%

This place was amazing, best Airbnb we’ve stayed in 10 meters away from the beach, hosts were always responsive and very helpful it is paradise.

Jungle Paunch Cabins was EXACTLy what I was looking for . Nestled in the jungle . Short walk down to road to hail cabs . Beautiful ocean on the road . Couple of walkable restaurants . Monkeys in the trees . Jungle sounds at night . Best sleep ever . Coming home at night magical and safe . Jane is beyond personable . Max welcoming and friendly with a fabulous smile . Great well seasoned widely traveled couple who built their dream . So happy they share it with us visitors .

It feels like a treehouse in the jungle with the sounds of the wildlife and ocean waves in the background. Gloria’s house is not only beautiful but a very peaceful place to stay, incredibly relaxing. There is a bar on the beach and a few restaurants nearby, definitely recommend The Hummingbird for food. There are also two good swimming spots that you can get to after a walk through the jungle and along the beach; La Piscina and the Blue Lagoon. Maybe take a picnic and make an afternoon of it? The house is about 20 minutes from town so it’s a good idea to get some supplies when you first arrive before heading there. Gloria was a great host and Will, the chap who takes care of the house, was also great and they both speak Spanish and English. You’ll be in good hands here. Best of all, how wonderful to wake up in the morning and discover that you are having breakfast with monkeys, eating bananas from a tree right next to you. This is a special place that I shall not forget.

Wir können diese Unterkunft zu 100% empfehlen! Die Lage ist, wie der Beschreibung zu entnehmen ist, etwas abgelegen, dafür aber super idyllisch im Regenwald. Man kann einfach auf der Terrasse sitzen und den Lauten des Regenwaldes lauschen. Vor allem nachts haben wir die Affen direkt neben der Unterkunft gehört, was für uns ein Highlight war. Der Check-In war super unkompliziert und das, obwohl wir Probleme mit dem Transport hatten und zu einer ganz anderen Zeit angereist sind, als zuvor angegeben. Dasselbe gilt für den Check-Out, einfach unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft war super sauber und gemütlich, wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt! Fragen und Anliegen unsererseits wurden sofort und unkompliziert geklärt. Sollten wir jemals wieder nach Panama reisen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns auch nochmal ausdrücklich bei Maxi bedanken, den wir als sehr sympathisch, herzlich und hilfsbereit empfunden haben.
