We wander far & near yearning in pursuit of the familiar amidst the unknown. Welcome to WanderLust, a small tree-hugging cabin with an Himalayan view & homely comforts. Its ideal for those seeking adventure & an experience of verdant woods with birdsongs in the misty dawns, music of the cicadas in the dusks & the occasional call of the wild.

Wild Pear

With gorgeous mountain views, large outdoors, birdwatching, hikes, and modern amenities, this place is for tranquility and slowness. You must walk 10 minutes to get here. There is a climb back. Read by large bay windows, cozy up by the bukharis, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, stargaze. We are secluded, and you will experience the wilderness. A 10min walk down from the road or a 3 minute trek, you need to be mildly adventurous and fit to get here. Shops are a 2minute drive or 15minute walk.

Vayu: A Tranquil Himalayan Home

Nestled on the edge of a funnel-shaped valley in a picturesque hamlet called Nathuakhan and accessible only by a leisurely ten-minute stroll down an idyllic village path shaded by a lush canopy of oak trees, Vayu is a serene 05 Bedroom home that offers the rare chance to slow-down and breathe. Cradled by the Kumaon hills, at just 45 km from Nainital, this immersive mountain home made of stone and seasoned wood is the perfect place to indulge yourself in a moment of bliss and serenity. ​

Ramesh Himalayan Homestay.

The homestay is located in a very peaceful location near simtola eco park. Its a two story traditional house. The kitchen, dining area, a queen size bed and bathroom is in the ground floor and a double bed is in the first. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen have all the basic amenities. The house features beautiful view of sunrise and snow covered peaks in a distance. Located amidst the dense deodar jungle one can sit in the garden and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time throughout the day.

Avocados B&B, Bhimtal: A-shaped Luxury Villa

For 2 adults and two kids. A two- storeyed, A shaped Glass- Wood- And- Stone studio villa amidst an Avocado canopy and a small Kiwi vineyard and quite a few rare flower plants in the premise of our ancestral property. Vinatge setting, a fireplace, a freshwater spring, many ponds, a hammock and the constant chirp of birds to keep you company. Ideal for trekkers, readers, bird wacthers, nature lovers, meditation practitioners or people just looking for a quiet spot in a forest.

Tiaara Cottage, perfect holiday cottage in hills!

Cottage is situated in middle of fruits orchard with 360 degrees view of the Himalayas. Its a modern cottage with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. All basic amenities are available for a fun filled stay. Come here to relax, read, trek and enjoy. A caretaker is available to help with cleaning and cooking. There are a few nice cosy cafes also nearby. A place to rejuvenate yourself. Immerse yourself in nature. Its around 9 KM from Mukteshwar Wifi and power backup available.

Vidyuns Hide Out- The Up - Ranikhet Almora peaks

Vidyun's hill home in Dhamas, overlooks the snow clad Himalayan peaks of Trishul and Nanda Devi, with pine forest walks, bird watching and occasional sightings of leopard, pine martins, jackals in the forest behind the house. The house has 2 (two) "ensuite" bedrooms with private bathrooms. We do not give out the two bedrooms separately. Each bedroom is equipped to accommodate up to 3 guests. Even if a single guest books the entire cottage is kept free so u have EXCLUSIVE use.

The last 7 years have been an incredible learning experience. Since we moved to the village, the priorities have changed. There was a sense of discovery in everything we did. There were chai-filled conversations with elders and young turks and stories on how homes and communities were built. It's these learnings that led us to build these earth homes. Kumaon has been a great teacher. And we hope we've done justice to her sustainable ways.
